hi all

did some research with this and had some interesting results especially for the place longest run of outs was 4 if memory serves me correct.

with all the wisdom in this forum a appropriate staking plan to maximise profit and minimise loss may be ideal.

rules:
only look at pre post fav. or equal fav has to be 25/10 or more in the prepost.

must have these two figures at last two starts 11 or 21

must have had at least 4 runs in this time in

must have run 21 days or less

distance must be within 250m up or down from last start.

last run must have been on a city track

there it is quite simple check it out with your own research you may be able to improve on it.

Interesting.

I think lengths beaten, even without taking other factors such as class of race and weight carried into account, is much better to use than simply 21.

Eg. Is 21 where 2 is beaten by three lengths better than 41 where 4 is beaten by a length?

hi mr logic

over a period of one year the 21 factor totally outperformed the 41 factor.

i looked at 81/82/83 and so on but the most potent was 11/21 and must have had 4 runs this time in this gave profit on win only and place only at level stakes.

Fair enough.

But how did 21 go when 2 was beaten by 2 lengths or more compared to 41 when 4 was beaten under 2 lengths?

that i didnt investigate mr logic but what you indicate may have some merit.

one would need to research that aspect.
