Football Wooden spoons
I have a sneaky feeling both my teams Lions and Rabbitohs are going to collect Wooden Spoons this year
in the NRL the rabbitohs are only 2 points off the bottom and finding it hard to win
in the AFL the Lions are not playing inspiring football and finding it hard to win..They are 16 points (4 wins ahead of Richmond)They..Richmond are playing decent football but are just losing
So the Question is..is it possible richmond can win 5 0r 6 games in the second half of the season..is it possible that the Lions will lose their remaining games
Richmond are currently $1.10 and lions $14
Nrl betting for spoon is unknown (suspended) but you'd think souths would have shortened up to about $4 maybe just behind the dragons
Any comments?
Cheers

i backed the Warriors pre season to win the spoon @ $34 and they are one win off the bottom
betfair has rabbits at $5.10 behind dragons $3.30 and panthers $4.70
at this stage i don't mind the raiders at $8.20 or the roosters @ $5.30

AFL-Richmond $1.10
-Lions $14.00
NRL-Souths $7.00
Double Richmond -Souths $7.70
Lions -Souths $98.00
Now if i back both my luck will cause both bets to lose and then I'll be happy anyway :D

Interestingly the Panthers last held the wooden spoon back in 2001.
Two years later they were both Minor Premiers & Premiers!

Interesting observation Chiquita, might back them to make final 8 in 2008 [assuming an upward trend]
