the pup come a cropper at his 1st metro start today (randwick wed), looked like he got out of it ok tho.
just wondering if anyone with a memory a bit longer than mine can recall the last time the old man bit the dirt? i cant recall it ever happening but surely it must have.

are you guys talking about his son.
that kid is fearless but reckless. saw him veer in badly once and take out angland and bowman coming up the middle. just wiped them out!
but the strangest thing about was no one called foul. blew my mind.

I never get to see the races, just the results lol, probably saves me from having heart attacks but I wish I could so I could assess losers and up and comeing horses.
The father, Darren, is one of the best, if not the best. We were wondering if he has ever come off. I seem to remember him being injured recently but don't remember if it was a fall or being kicked by his missus.<jk>

Would you believe Father Darren had a race fall the same day he rode his first city winner at Warwick Farm in 1982 ;) Had the fall & then 2 rides later rode his first city winner.
