SPRING DOUBLE/ALL-UP COMPETITION

Ok. It looks like an all-up bet was popular with some so i'm going to put that in the revised competition rules since i was tossing up whether to put it in in the first place - no each way or place all-up bets though.

It would be great to have a few more entrants this week !

COMPETITION RULES

1. The competition will operate every Saturday throughout spring finishing up
on Emirates Stakes Day

2. Punters can select one Extra Double, Double or All-up bet from any thoroughbred meeting covered by Unitab (its such a beautiful website) in Australia

3. Your weekly budget is $20.

4. Your double/all-up does not have to be for a $1 unit.
You can have 1 horse into another horse for $20 if you want.
All-up bets must be for the WIN only.

5. Please calculate the cost of your double/all-up correctly
eg. 1(first leg)x1(second leg) (for $20)=$20;
2x4(for $2.50)=$20; 4x5(for 50c)=$10

6. Selections must be made by 12:00 Vic. time

7. The usual Unitab substitutes will be given in the case of scratchings

8. Over the first 10 weeks we will have a ladder with $ rankings

9. All dollar amounts will return to $0 for the last 3 weeks of the comp.

10.The top 2 will take each other on in the GRAND FINAL running over those
last 3 weeks (cox plate,derby day and emirates stakes day).
The other competitors will also play the person below them on the ladder
(ie. 3 v 4; 5 v 6) over the same 3 weeks.

I seem to be travalling along quite nicely since I have gone back to keeping it simple and getting the money in the bank.

Am a little dissapointed however as I was going to have it into Devil Moon, so could of been alot bigger. Atleast I had some real money on it though so make it a little better.

Lets hope we can all get some winners and really get the competition heating up coming into the business end.

Don't get greedy, always remember "a short price winner is better than a long price loser".

Hi guys. Sorry i went to a teaching education day yesterday after a busy week so have been out of action 'til now.

Our match-ups go for 3 saturdays ending on the last day of cup week.
Congrats indeed to Young Buck for jumping to an early lead in the GF
- but all is not lost Jefffffrey. But even topping him yesterday was Goldie
and yours truly got a small result too. So we will have a result in 3 matches.
Don't know where HW, Chuck and Rabz have got too. We'll put them in a
match by themselves for the last 2 weeks.
