Thought i'd get the discussion rolling for this week...

I haven't been through the form guide as yet but there is one that I dived into.

Gold Edition in the Manikato. Think she will lead them up, kick off the turn and there will be no catching her at the Valley after she has run them off there feet. Sportsbet.com.au put up $3.6 which I thought was a bit of overs, and has since been wound into $3.2. I say get on while you can.

And to the rest of the races...
Race 2 Tango Amigo's looks like a pretty good thing here. I was a big fan last campagin and look forward to her return. Think she will win this and go on to much bigger things.

Race 4 Champagne Stakes. I think Bel Mer will go well, was saved from last week for this which is alot weaker. The valley will suit, think the danger is Arcadia. Bel Mer is at quite a good price though I think.

Race 5 Think there is quite a good bet in this race.Typhoon Zed. Ran a good second to last start to Undue. Tim Martin runner so keep an eye on the market if the money comes, make sure you don't miss the boat. You might be best to get on before the money comes.

Race 8 Independent Cranes Stakes. I think you have to stick with Devil Moon here. Was so impressive last week and think that she will just win again. TAB sportsbet are offering $4.6 .

Put forward your opinions...

Jeff

The opening price yesterday was $6.Gee, can't believe I missed that. Must of come in quickly, I always check them on a Thursday and so often they give overs and their market will change. Did you have a little bit at that price?

For the biggies, i think El Segundo is a very good chance if you can get a price. that being said, i'm still very confident and would take 2.5+.
3-8 exacta might be short but seems obvious

i think Here De Angels will beat gold edition in the manikato, i've never been a big fan of GE and freedman should have HDA well primed for this even second up. for value, Dr Nipandtuck ran a cracker behind these two last start, keep it in the multis its a big chance. Universal Queen and Undue the other chances. 1,3,4,9,10 tri

sportsbet.com.au are offering $2.65 on El Segundo. Not a bad price. Won't be a great deal of pace on though I don't think. However I am sticking with him.

The Valley
Dead/Rail out 2m.

r1 Bit of a dart job, but with the rail out the favorite Down Under Boy will need luck in the running from the poor barrier. I like the mid-pacer Goondi. Back to the right class and will have e/w odds.

r2 McFly has the right alley for a back-marker and the pace will be on in this to suit. I also like the classy Tango Amigo which has won at the track and has a 2 for 2 first up record.

r3 Snappy Tom goes well here and was 2.8L from Here De Angels last start, so it's good form for this lower class race.

r4/1,2,3,4,10 could all win this, but I'll go Gladwell because it won it's only start here, will have reasonable odds and is as good as any.

r5 Typhoon Zed and Kaphero will put the pace on and I'll throw in the back-marker with odds, Corporal Nediym from b12 for a Quin. and a cheap Tri.

r6 Haradasun with Beadman [who can used the whip well with with his left hand] is an ideal combo here and is my pick.

r7 Pass on this one [odds will be unders]. r8 Evilweb. r9 Sirmione or Soulacroix

Good luck everyone!

Race 2, ,,Dyna Myta should run well here,,looked real good last start but just ran into a wall of horses,,he'll get to the outside here and
the pace of this race suits..could be around the 20's and looks a nice e/w bet....tango the one he'll have to run down..
Race 4,,, Gladwell is racing well finished off her race hard last start,,i think she'll be nice and close this time and will be hard to hold out.
Little Arrow the danger she races well frsh and has enough early speed to take advantage of the good barrier..i like this exacta,,,
i got 6's for her last night so i might be on both..
Race 5,,I didnt think i'd get a price Typoon Zed but the 3.50 is nice value,,,he should follow the speedy ticklish over and be in a great possie to
take her on when she stops the last 50m,,,,
Race 6..,El Segundo around here should be to good,,i'll hope for 2.80 to maybe 3's and thats about as low as i take them,,but i'm confident he wont be to far away here in running,,Hara the one he'll stalk and hopefully run down,,i think Cinque Cento a good chance of holding on for 3rd and efficient is capable of running into the money..
Race 7,,,i think Goldie but i wont take her at that price,,,, theres a couple in this race that might take her on up front,,,Undue just needs some luck
to blast them all away..looks like i'll be looking on..
Race 8,,,like a roughie here in Miss La Tar,,took 34's,,i loved her run last time from last over the shorter,,she runs well here and likes the dead..
Bellini Rose looks well suited and i'm on at 7.50 ...

Brissie..
DeenLester , running bear (3's ias) ,Junk in The trunk , Poiym, Spirito Volante
Adelaide
Scrubby Creek (to short atm)
Newcastle
Maison Dupoy
Nz
tradewind (been a great horse for me)

Good Luck all :)

What a race that was, both $2.40 on unitab and an inch seperating, that's what we like to see. Spewing a changed my mind at the last minute and took Haradasun, though i thought he got it on the line, cant complain, got up on ticklish in the race before. Looking forward to the manikato, go Undue and Vormista for a roughie.

A good couple of collects yesterday but gave it all back and then some in brisie ect..
What was Colless doing on Running Bear ??

Didnt like the way ELsegundo cruised along side Hara..i thought he should have gapped him abit as he had him covered quite easily..seems to sometimes run along side them and this cost him last years Cox..

Phils right when he says blinkers might improve him..

Thought Dawnstorm today a good chance ,,Dekastella a good e/w at Ballarat
and Tornadic Sky at the Gold Coast should give tourguide a good go,,
Warrior Trader in the big one at the coast,,still shopping for a price though..
