For those who just must have a bet, beware. In Queensland, if there were a meeting at Woop Woop, starting Sunday morning at 7 am, I'm sure the TAB would be quite willing to accept your bets. Won't it be good when EI disappears and we are able to expect good meetings again, quite apart from the heartbreak, and near financial ruin for so many.

WOn a stack on Hayes and Freedman horses at the commencement of races when they were up against big names fresh out of the stalls, Miss Fantabulous paid nearly $30 as last leg of a big all up.
I could do with it blowing in once a year, in a few years I might have caught up!lol

Don't belittle that Woop Woop form! ;)

Seriously though, I know what you mean. The quality of racing is not great at the moment. But it's all we've got.

I reckon it's been good to have these lesser meetings getting some coverage just for a change. At least they've been getting some turnover back into the industry. Would have been a pretty barren time racing wise without them.
