Gossip I heard today is of some big betting for Tungsten Strike. Its last start was a win by 6l. in the Goodwood over 2816m. It also has 2 wins and 4 seconds over the cup distance. So there could be something in this.

Yeah, It won first up over this distance after a 33wk. spell in a low class race, but at a walking pace followed by a short sprint. Won't get it's own way here. Maybe worth a spot bet?

I've heard a few "form experts" on the radio today and they ALL included Tungsten Strike among their main chances.

I can't have him on his english form maybe you guys see more than I do but he has been well beaten by Yeats, Distinction, Land'N'Stars, around this trip that to me says no hope I have been wrong before though.

Same buzz on Mahler yesterday, big money wagered.
I think the fanfare and occassion will be too much for them, I realise Mahler is almost 4 not really three, but I'm not happy to include either.
I found this MC to be very difficult.
