Before i kept stats and found what is now my own system i used to use this one with what i always thought was fair success. I never kept records though as it was used just for a Saturday punt at the time so i dont even know how it went on a unit for unit basis. I did tell a friend about it once and some time later he made comment on how well it was going for him ( he is only a casual Saturday punter so he didnt keep record either )
Lets see what happens. More then not they are favoured runners & i dont rule any out if they come up as so....
Moonee Valley tips Friday

oooooww....3000m race got me. Although consistancy at the distance is a criteria i didnt notice the actual race distance....i disregard all long events.
I'll cop it as i posted it. Not to worry....

Well done. What is the formula?
King Cugat
17th November 2007, 04:55 PM
early days Ade.
Will take me some time to type out 100% correct criteria. If you ask again after more data pumped through then more then happy to pass it on as its not the one i currently use.
The only one i had in my system that came up here was Citi Boy, I didnt bet on Splendorous or Like It Is.
The one i currently use was 11/12 today $4180 outlay > $4870 return (16.51% )
Most come up are favoured runners as you can work out by figures

was out and only heard it on the radio MR Q sounded like it wasnt too far off the 3rd spot. Nice to get the $1.90 early and have a free shot at the $2.60 unitab were going to give away though. I again didnt take either horse as they werent in my system. << (3 from 3 today)
Will be away until Next week though so i have nothing to offer until Wednesday
This system can really only operate on Wed + Sat as its just too hard to get all the stats together 100% correctly with country horses + i dont like the consistency rates of these Mon/Tue Thu/Fri horses since e.i.
Good Luck

No Selections today.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
A few that rated highly with only 1 criteria not matched .....if anyones looking for some to throw in multies are below:
Bunbury r:5 n:4 Bonny Dee $9 (Pace of race the concern for her -slow)
r:7 n:1 Joachimstaller $17 so i'll post for value purpose only
(top rated with Royal Cobra $9 & Sky Marshall $6)
Werribee r:4 n:4 Partysinga $7 (even race -slowly run though her problem?)
Cheltenham r:6 n:2 Fasadina $5 ( Standout in a poor race -dist ? only )
King Cugat
28th November 2007, 06:00 PM
Bonny Dee (4th) was infact beaten by the pace with the first 3 into the straight going on with it and nothing coming from behind
Joachimstaler (3rd) paid very well ($4.40p) with one of the other equal raters winning ($4.80w)
Partysinga was a non runner @ Werribee
Fasadina ($1.50p) was a worry at the distance fading back to just hang onto 3rd.
Not bad going. Shows that even when they do only fail 1 of the criterias they are still very good bets.

Now i know where these lil gems are posted, i will be following very keanly nice strike rate. Do you suggest all tips given are for place only or each way?
King Cugat
1st December 2007, 08:33 PM
DS
Originally this one was made for the place and although i never kept a book on it i would suggest it works the best as a place system. Perhaps time will tell. 2 of these today were in my original system. This runs at lower selection volume / higher POT. My original runs on higher selection volume / lower POT.

do you have any idea at what the strike rate of your system would be like, using place "all ups".
King Cugat
2nd December 2007, 08:53 AM
Not an All Up fan DS. No real reason other then the dissapointment when you put the hard work in & 1 horse mucks you up. I believe that to make good money you would need atleast a 5 leg all up when place betting. << To that theory i also know that my strike rate might be 4/5 so i almost expect to lose the All Up i take based on those simple stats.
The other issue is that this particular system doesnt select enough horses from any 1 meeting. To manually All Up over different states could be looked at but again its not something i get interested in. Perhaps you can keep some stats on it over the states if your interested. I do believe this system , although not producing alot of selections is one of the higher strike rate / POT systems you will find for place betting.
If i had more time i could probably produce selections everyday, however as stated i find it hard to take the Mon / Tue / Fri / Sun horses seriously and prefer the more experianced & consistent horses that race on the 'peak' days for system betting. Just betting these days gives you a distinct advantage before you even start.

cheers K.C,i too follow a system where i have fewer selections for a higher strike, if i have no selections i just roll my money over until i have a selection that meets my criteria, so in saying that i do feel comfortable following your selections

Terrible
If you werent in the first few you had no chance all day. Will perhaps persist if i see some more on country trax to get the data. Then split them back up and see the difference. I have no doubt Metro trax will provide healthy figures.
