Betfair place betting

I have a system for place betting, works though the week not so good on weekends.

My theory is the prices that I get during the week are much better than the weekends. Thus showing more profit. It seems the prices on the weekends are very close to Tab prices and sometimes less.

Has anybody noticed anything like this or have any figures?

For me its the opposite of how i want it.
mid week, especially mon, tue & fri the TAB prices are poor, best or better of 2 doesnt even help as much as you would expect. Betfair to me has the better odds, slightly. The only probelm it's hard to get set for $1k in 1 click. If i only have 1min to get on, its just too hard unless i take out a few layers in 1 go resulting in averaging down, which defeats the purpose.
The weekends i find best of 3 wins hands down. You can get set with $1k no problem on betfair but its at very straight forward prices (not like win betting on betfair and getting overs every time). I find the surprise factor in 1 of the TABS will beat it. I Posted somewhere recently about expectations on best of 3.
I used to keep plenty of stats about the difference but it became evident in the end as to how things were panning out. I think it all comes down to individual expectations on how your system operates and more importantly instinct to know which option to take with seconds remaining as the movement of flucs are in full momentum. You can go mad keeping stats on betfair v best / better of.

Ya $1k weekdays would be hard to get matched, you only have three four bets a day as I bet most races. I'm small just building the bank (tring), with built in increases.

The problem with watching the tab prices is the Fluc. after the jump. (I hate that) my min. div is $1.70
If icn't get better than tote (work on about 20%)then no bet. I now I need better than tote to come out in front.
