Yes, have a great trip, P.P.. Need anyone to carry your bags?

I'm off myself on 24th --- a few days in Beijing, then a month in Europe (mostly eastern Europe) and onto Canada for the best part of a month. I have a niece living in Toronto. Alas not paid for mostly from the punt, I'm afraid..... but next time it will be!!! http://www.propun.com.au/racing_forums/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif

Well you Guys/Gals,

7 weeks PhilippinesMan shot dead for bad singing in karaoke bar
MANILA, Philippines -- A man was shot dead by a security guard for singing out of tune in a karaoke bar, police said Thursday.

Romy Baligula, 29, was halfway through his song on Tuesday night in a bar in San Mateo town, east of Manila, when 43-year-old security guard Robilito Ortega yelled that he was out of tune.

As Baligula ignored his comments and continued singing, Ortega pulled out his revolver and shot him in the chest.

Have good holiday regardless
Cheers

yes, why can't australian idol be judged like this?

Because the idol judges don't judge pitch, vibrato, tamber or vocal strength, they judge for popularity and sales.
I can't count the number of winners, touchdowns and pocket pxxxxes they've done to people that are popular, but can't sing in tune or have no vocal strength.
Some of the best singers I've seen, have been let go early, some of the worst have won it.

Cosima
Ricki Lee
Bobby Flynn (brilliant artist).
