My modus operandi was....

From race 5 onwards ONLY betting those at $5 +.

In general Fav backers should go home after race 4 .

Cheers.

I used to follow a few systems using the Unitab ratings. One was a longshot system - backing the sole 100 rater if it was unplaced last start and isn't mentioned in either set of tips on the Unitab website. Note race 1 Brisbane today.

Wish I'd followed that top rater today!

Yes, well, I didn't call it a longshot system for nothing. Can go a while between drinks, but you can get some good results. Not a bad idea to include them in exotics.

I think that's the way to go with the ratings. Look at them for a while and work out a few little systems. You certainly can't back all the top raters and come out on top. You have to find a way on cutting down on the selections.

Although having said that, $1 each way on each top rater in Brisbane worked out well today. Wish I'd used them in Crash's tipping comp. ;)
