I was having a look at the website regarding Price Preditor (following on from Shy's comments on the Last Start Winners thread) and came across the RaceMate website. Was wondering if anyone had any experience with this software or, more importantly, the BettorData service that it links to? I like the sound of being able to get the TAB prices as soon as they are updated instead of when they decide to put them on their website. Any comments greatly appreciated.

Re BETTORDATA
This service has been available via Microweb's program RACEDATA for years.
The service is reliable, but the downside is that you need a special decoder which costs.Racemate charge $11 per week, which is far cheaper than Racedata's cost.
Racemate is also linked into Price Predictor ratings,so it is a useful tool if you use this handicapping program. The Racemate program is more expensive than Racedata.
Hope this helps,YUBET

Thanks for that Yubet - good to hear it is reliable. I have since found out that the BettorData service should soon be available over Internet for approx $50/month (the advantage being you won't need to buy a decoder but you will have to pay for internet charges). The company providing this is just waiting for the various legal agreements with TAB's to be finalised so not sure exactly when it will happen.

I don't have a problem with these services only the price as it is hard enough to make a profit with out the added cost.
Not sure of the fastest tab or if there is another cheaper option, i know that mob that offers all the tabs bookies and betfair prices are ok and they have an interface with excel so thats something to look at.

Why not try a Google search, with the word 'reviews " after its name.
