After the event, it is common to try to find why the winner won. Did others note that in the Metropolitan the only horse that was not going up in class was Newport. Prepost price in the Courier Mail was $31, but it actually paid $51.70.
In race 8, there were 4 in the race not going up in class, with the winner paying
$10.20
Has anyone attempted to develop a system around this?
