As a few of you may know, due to work pressures, I have stopped providing prices on a regular basis in a seperate forum, however given we have events in Australia at the moment I thought I'd put up my thoughts over the next few weeks on some of the matches.

Brisbane and Hopman Cup are on at present.

Safin may take the Hopman Cup a little more seriously than he has in the past, given he's here with his sister, however in 2005 (when last here) he lost 3 from 3 so a short price him is ridiculous. I rate Bolelli the favourite and the 1.90 or so around at present for the Italian is nice. He's no good thing though so enter at own risk.

Brisbane matches for today my prices (rated to 100%) are as follows:

GASQUET, RICHARD 1.24 vs GICQUEL, MARC 5.14 - Two Frenchmen so no thanks, Gasquet's been here a while though
BENNETEAU, JULIEN 4.72 vs GINEPRI, ROBBY 1.27 - Bit of value in Ginperi but not your most consistent beast going around
DENT, 2.07 vs Darcis, Steve 1.93 - my prices based on Dent's ratings when he disappeared so be warned - if fit he's in this but that is a big question mark as he had two years off and retired hurt in Novemeber in his 7th match for 2008.
SODERLING, ROBIN 1.62 vs Querrey, Samuel 2.6 - Little bit of value Querrey but nothing to write home about.

Today I'd be punting Bolelli for a small amount.

Cheers

Tony

TonyGinepri was cruising to take the first set then switched off? Not consistent as you say, but at 1.27 you'd want all the favours.

In the Hopman Cup the Safins did the job.

A real interesting Australian Open coming up in a couple of weeks. In Abu Dhabi Andy Murray has started 2009 as he left 2008, beating Federer and Nadal.
Be interested in your prices when the Open comes up Tony.

Will do my best to post open pricing - gotta a killa job though so can't promise anything.

Tomorrow in Brisbane - for those not familiar with my prices the shortest I rate any player is 1.03 (therefore longest is 33.33) and I do them to 100%.

Gulbis, Ernests 4.08 vs Djokovic, Novak 1.32 - In my opinion Djokovic will be too short to play but he still should win.

BERDYCH, TOMAS 1.03 vs Klein, Brydan 33.33 - Aussie no good but is up against one of the most unfullfilled talents on the tour

FERRERO, JUAN 1.22 vs SERRA, FLORENT 5.45 - Spare me the injury time outs (for arthritis that is)

MELZER, JURGEN 2.6 vs FISH, MARDY 1.62 - Nice one to watch (but not to punt) Fish 26 wins and 22 losses to lefties so I wouldn't be jumping into 1.62<O:p

KUNITCIN, IGOR 2.39 vs STEPANEK, RADEK 1.72 - Little value the Russian - but hey that's common

NIEMINEN, JARKKO 1.93 vs BAGHDATIS, MARCOS 2.07 - Baggy 23 wins and 19 losses to lefties, has been practicing in these conditions for a while, a match where you'd take 2.20+ either player

TSONGA, JO-WILFIED 1.03 vs CALLERI, AGUSTIN 33.33 - on this stuff Tsonga should be too good.

Hopman Cup I rate it 50/50 Kiefer and Hewitt but haven't bet on, or against, Keifer for about 10 years.

Today I'm watching (well working really with a dvd running) but not punting.

Cheers
