I will leave my previous thread to Jackact as his betting system seems to be doing well.
I will start this new one for my Laying method with an additional filter - the selection must have been beaten last start by at least 2 lengths. I will also look at selections that are outside the 8 to 12 starters rule to see how they fare.
Today's selections:
Dombeen R2 no.9 - Alberton Park
Morphetville R1 no.12 - Tres Chere
Hobart R3 no.3 - Ghandi
Belmont R8 no.5 - Dream Express (16 starters)
Hobart R4 no.4 - Centenary Diamond (7 starters)

Hi michaelg
I looked at the uni tab 100 pointers about a year ago, you could lay all of them (mid week) and make money, a bit different rules,
rules where 100 pointer
must have run two placings in the last three starts
results for midweek (non metro)
665 runners
23% winners
returned 73% of money returned (unitab figures)
54% place S/R for 85% return
The only ones that went close to breaking even was the ones going up in prize money.

Thanks, Crackone.
Is there a website that shows if today's race is going up in prizemoney?
Do the midweek (non metro) figures include a cut-off price for the selection. I presume the selection has to be the sole top rated on Unitab?

540 horses paid under $5.50 for a 60 unit lose unitab prices
125 paid over $5.50 for a lose of 6 units
There may have been more than one top rated as I only recorded the ones that had run two places from the last three starts.

Thanks, Crackone. I can register with the site but for some reason I cannot log-in. Is this required to obtain the info? If not, I cannot locate any section that refers to today's racing or form.
Syllabus23, BAT won't download using Intrernet Explorer or Opera.

Hi, Stugots.
One of Crackone's rules was "must have run two placings in the last three starts", so I assume that a spell is ignored? Crackone, if you read this can you clarify the situation?
What I failed to state was the selection's Lay price must be $5.40 or less. Yesterday there was only one selection that qualified - it was unplaced.

No selections today.
Orange R8 no.4 (Monaro Magic) would have been a selection, but today's prizemoney is the same at its previous last start.
However, DFS on NSWTAB website states it is now running in a stronger field. It'll be interesting to see how it goes.

Crackone, just out of interest with horses dropping in prizemoney...
I'll look at today and see how it goes:
1) Sole top Unitab rater.
2) Placed last start.
3) Going down in prizemoney.
4) Minimum of 8 starters.
Gold Coast R8 no.2 - Meld
Newcastle R2 no.3 - Mulsanne
Echuca R3 no.6 - Pound Lane
Belmont R5 no.5 - Chopin
Belmont R6 no.2 - Dante's Dash
Sun Coast R4 no.3 - Razzled
Sun Coast R5 no.8 - Paralegal
