View Full Version : can't get sportsbet

Has anyone ever had a problem like this? : I have a plug in type Broadband USB, everything is working ok except I can't get the sportsbet homepage, i.e. it doesn't open at all. needless to say have contacted Sportsbet and no probs there, ran all the usual antirus thingos and no probs there.

As far as I know its only the Sportsbet site, any ideas?

So if you were on this website and decided to go to Sportsbet, what page Opens up, or what dialogue box comes up?

yes i have the same problem i have the usb plugin too.Cant bring up the page at all.Because of this i have stoped using sportsbet all together.i dont know why its the only site that doesnt work but its been like this for well over 6 months.

hopefully they will fix it soon as i would like to use them again in the future.

Sports5000, well it's wierd but at least I know that I'm not alone, as when I tell them(Sportsbet) they basically tell me that it's my comp,.... but it doesn't work on any other comp either but only for Sports bet, and yes like you; I use Sportingbet now instead with no probs. but this is only good for win bets, for my place betting I have to ring Sportsbet which is most unsuitable.

Hi Party,

It is probably the way your isp decodes the url.
I have the same problem with the propun site.

All other sites work, but this one I have to use a proxy browser.

Do a google search for eat my browser and enter the url in the box and see if you can connect then.

I'm now with TPG and spent hours on the phone with them.
They say they are not blocking this site, it is a problem with the site.

I've never had trouble accessing this site through Bigpond or Australia Online, and this is the only site I'm aware of that TPG has a problem with.

Proxy browser is your friend.

I've opened up a new thread for TPG users that have issues with accessing any of the OZmium/Smartgambler/Pro-Punter sites.

Could you please assist me with troubleshooting the issue.
