Here is a plan that has shown a profit most weeks so far.
Betting 7 days a week.

RULES
.Target the first 3 races only, for all venues.

.Use a reliable tipsters top 2 selections only.
e.g. Radio TAB

.Target the Horse ,of the 2 top selections, that has the allocated wt of 55.5Kg & less. (This is Important)
(ignore apprentice claims)

.If a draw- take the Horse that is highest in list of TAB Nos.
e.g. Take No.5 over No.9
The stats show that it is more profitable to do it this way rather than taking both or taking the lower No. in the list.

If you feel you wish to bet both, its best to bet one full unit on the higher listed for your normal one unit & half a unit on the lower one listed.
e.g.
No.5 bet $1.00
No. 9 bet .50

.Bet 1/50th of bank level stakes adjusted daily up & down.
That way you should not get into any strife.

What we a trying to do here is to try & zero in on horses with light weights & have "can win" possibilities if all goes their way.
Also the excuse of , "couldn't handle the wt." does not come into it.

The reason why we only target the first 3 races is because tipsters seem to be more consistent than any other races on the card generally , mainly because the fields are usually smaller than the later half of the day.

You will find the plan will not work if you do all races 4-8 for what ever reason. .
So try & target races 1-3 only.


UniTAB Radio TAB tips are easily accessed & their top 2 have approx 45% SR between them which is higher than most other tipsters that are free or paid for.

It hits on a number of good divs.

Go back over some past results before placing any real money on this Method.

There wont be a bet in every race , which is why it probable works.


1/50th bet is used to smooth out the massive swings that can occur if one uses a divisor, that is any less.

Best prices are had using Betfair where we usually get a 1-2pt advantage.
Sometimes double.

Its SR is approx 28%

PROGRESSIONAL STAKING
If you fancy a progressional staking plan , here's one.
Bet.
1 1 2 2 3 3 4 4 5 5 6 6 7 7 ect.
Go back one lot of 2 bets, after each win at $4.45 & less
e.g. 1 1 2 2 3 3 4 4w 3 3 4w 3 3w 2 2w 1 ect.

If we hit a $4.50+ winner , we go back 2 lots
e.g. 1 1 2 2 3 3 4w@$4.50 , 2 2 3 3 4 4 5 5 6 6w@4.50 , 4 4 5 ect.

Bank of $420 will last 40 outs

Good start, got the winner at Riccarton in race 2 paying $5.50

Have been over this months races so far,

So last saturday was a disaster, apart from that it went pretty well. The strike rate for these days was 20%, divs ranged from $2.60 to $10.80.
Be worth going over a few more weeks to see how its goes, especially if that disaster on saturday was a one off, or a constant trend with saturday racing.

I guess it doesn't matter what system we follow, there is always going to be off days .

That's why its best to have a 50/1 betting ratio to bank , if betting level stakes.

Sat 25th July result
6 from 15 = 40% SR
In 23.90
Out 15.00
+ 8.90 prof = 39% POT

UniTAB Prices 6.10 , 4.50 , 3.20 , 3.80 , 1.90 , 4.40

5pt more would have been had using Betfair making it +14.00 prof = 93% POT

This is just put up to show that not all Sat are negative.
