Hi folks.
I was looking at a system today and one of the rules involved disregarding a claiming apprentice jockey.

Can someone let this beginner know how to tell if an apprentice is claiming or not.

I mainly use Unitab for my bets. They list the jockey with an (A) after his name but for the life of me I am stumped with the claiming bit.

Thanks for any help.

Ian

i.e Race 1 Horse 3 at Randwick = Royal Singer
J.Quinell ( a2) apprentice claiming 2 KG

Under the conditions of the race...eg somewhere near prizemoney will also tell you if the race is one whether apprentices are entitled/eligible to claim. Hope that helps!

Thanks for the quick replies guys. Just when I seem to be getting my head around things another question pops up.
Does the learning never stop?
