Burning some midnight oil trying to improve a selection method that just hits break even both for the win and the place (not rocket science) I noticed that if one backs the conveyance only when it is ridden by the same jockey as last start, the S/R improved dramatically, especially when it was a last start winner or close up, now this is only from limited results so far so it could be a fizzer, but I wondered if anyone else had some stats on this angle?
