How do I work out what price a dog should be. Any suggestions.

Depends on what breed it is and where you buy it from.

7/1 or $8.00 and work from there.

Deducting or adding for box draw, strike rate, best time over distance and early speed.

Here is another angle .


Deduct the rating of each dogs pts from 100pts on UniTAB or where ever pts can be had.


e.g.
100-89 = 11.00 would be our assessed price.
100-95 = 5.00

Now bet them to our accessed price if they are over this amount in the live market.

Treat 100 , 99 , 98 , 97 pts as $3.00

Like anything , it will have its moments.

It wont work if the Fav gets up all night, which some times happens.
Then again ,what rating system does.
