Hi all, does anyone know where (online) I can place bets on Healsville Greyhounds? Can't do it on TAB or Sportsbet.

The HEALESVILLE CUP is about the only race that the TAB sets a Market and Pools on.

I think a more important question that you need to ask Mike367 , is why would you want to place a bet Online for Healesville?
Obviously you don't have interests running an animal there or you would have arranged for them to place a bet for you.

Plenty of good races going around tonight at The Meadows where there is abundant means of getting set Online.

why the question re Healesville...

Recently I've been looking at the Watchdog's tips, on Sat he tipped a couple at Healesville. So why tip them, if the only way to back them is on track. I would guess only a small percentage of us would be able to get to the track to back them.

As for my own selections for the Meadows, well lets just say I've a lot to learn.

Betting at Healesville is a bit like thourabred Punters betting at Hanging Rock.

There are ample opportunities to bet on quality animals at quality tracks.

In case you are unaware, Healesville is a single distance, completely straight track over 340 metres.
You would think on a course like that, which would tend to negate most of the interfence occuring on tracks wit bends, that it wouldn't be too hard to find the winner.

Make sure you check the starting prices of them Warchdog Winners.
Probably started pretty skinny.

Why do they tip there?
They get paid to I figure.

Make sure you learn it right, because is very, very hard to undo poor practises once they are instilled.

I been betting for maybe 30 years and still get it wrong.
Could even be more wrong now than when I started.

No, I didn't know that about Healesville.

You've been betting for 30 years, thats a long time. Are you willing to share some of what you've learned in that 30 years? A tit-bit here, a pointer there, any advice would be very welcome.
As you say it's best to learn right, right from the start.

Obviously since I am still losing after 30 years, I ain't learnt anything.
I know a lot, but can't apply what I know to be financially beneffited.

To learn means to be able to do something that you weren't able to previously.
But to be useful, this learning must be in the direction that you are choosing to travel.

I suggest you decide exactly what it is you wish to achieve.
And monitor whether you are getting closer to that wish as time passes.

What that wish is and how you monitor are up to you.
But get that right and you can't go wrong.

Me myself is just plain STOOPID is as STOOPID does.
I have no excuse.
Although my mum says it may have been when I fell down and hit my head at 4 years of age.

Don't stress.
At the first sign of stress, switch off and put it away.
Ask yourself what is on your mind and deal with it immediately.
Once you know the answer, and made steps to resolve it, get back to the business.
