I reckon Tobique might be a rough chance at good odds in what looks to be a very ordinary race.

There are some pretty well performed horses in this for an "ordinary" race ;)

How about Growl?

HW I agree there are some well performed horses here but at this distance range is a different thing see how things go but geez I really feel this lacks some quality in a race I would find it hard to get to excited about backing any of them.

i know what your saying raw, it's really in the middle of the ideal distance for alot of these. Maybe a little long for HOD's at his best, a little short for most of the others. I think 2000m is Littorio's distance. Got $26 a while back so going to be happy to just stick with that bet and cheer him home.

It has been announced that sole scratching Shocking will be reinstated in the Australian Cup field. Shocking was a race morning scratching from the Australian Cup due to a foot abscess but if he recovers he will be able to take his place in the postponed race.

Good news for fans of Shocking. Looks almost certain to run in the rescheduled Australian Cup after responding to antibiotics for what was originally thought to be a foot abscess. Now thought to be just a minor infection.

Was a double blow for the Hayes camp. Changingoftheguard was also put down.
