trying to remember a fairly simple system i had a few years back that picked some quite handsome place divies eg $4- 12 dollars i'm struggling to remember rules but it had something to do with a particular formline in the last 2 or 3 starts seemed to work on saturday in brisbane the best i did have it written down but its nowhere to be found i like betting place parlays or allups and something with juicy odds can really increase your winnings. Last week in sydney did a six horse all up for the place and they all won i nearly cried but thats punting.

May I suggest you have a look under the bed.
I am not sure if this is the type of help you were hoping for, to find that system.

$5.00!
See! your ahead of the game already.
I firmly believe a man should drink plenty of beer, especially when on the punt.
Its quit efficacious for numbing the pain.

I always urge to have a multi on the win as well. Even if it's 2 or $3. When it does get up, the rewards can be huge. I don't usually do 6 but I'll often have trebles and quaddies.
Are you making a profit at level stakes with your place betting? Otherwise doing multi's will multiply your losses.

because i just started doing the 6 race place system i briefly thought about the win but becuse i was using 36 combinations eg 1x1x2x2x3x3 it didnt really fit into the bank budget plus how many times a year do you think of picking six winners in a day. But i'm now looking at 3 to 4 races as an easier option and because most of the horses were favourites to many have to get up to make a decent return

coasterc4, as I understand it you can stake any amount you like and are paid the proprtion eg. you put $5 on, you hit 6 winners so you're paid the full multiplied odds to $1 (i.e., 6x9-1 winners = 1Million hee hee) x 5 =$5,000,000 divided by the number of bets in your case 36 so you would collect $139,000 roughly!

Here is an idea that maybe of interest to those who like to have a stab at all up betting.
The idea is to keep aside 10-20% of the return, before all upping on the next bet.
That way, a punter will show, all is not lost if one of them falls over.
Example.
Based on even money results. Place betting.
We will keep 15% of Ret.
Bt--O/L----Ret-----Keep---NxtBt
1.--5.00---10.00---1.50----8.50
2.--8.50---17.00---2.60----14.40
3.--14.40--28.80---4.30----24.50
4.--24.50--49.00---7.40----41.60
5.--41.60--83.20---12.50---70.70 ......Total Keep Col $28.30
6.--70.70
So what we have here is. If.....
6th bet fails. We still Keep 28.30 (minus the initial 5.00 = 23.30 prof)
5th-----------------------15.80
4th------------------------8.40
3rd-----------------------.4.10
2nd-----------------------1.50 (minus the initial 5.00 = -3.50 loss)
One does not have to target 6 in a row.
It can be 3 or 4 or 5 in a row.
Cheers.
