I'm a big fan of Walking or Dancing to get the job done at Newcastle today. Won t/d, great win last start and if the track stays dead has won 4 out of 4. My saver is Drumbeats.
Anyone else got some input?

I agree Twoshoes. Both Walking or Dancing & Drumbeats look very well placed today. I'll add the toppy Strat's Flyer. Normally goes good first-up (6:2-2-0) & placed in 2 lead-up trials.

I like it Sands!
I noted Strats Flyer has had two barrier trials into this so should give a decent sight. You've got Bowman onboard which is a bonus too, he's such a class rider.
Box the Strat's Flyer, Drumbeats, Walking or Dancing Quinella.

Centennial Park, Emperor Bonaparte and Sainthood's chances here?

Hi Abs,
I'd definitely throw in Centennial Park. Sainthood is an improving type by Lonhro and could inject some value.
Emporer Bonaparte is an interesting one! Seems to do its best on good to dead tracks and ran well on a slow track last start. Payne trained and with a nice inside barrier you could do a lot worse!
Maybe box
1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 10 for $20 you'll get 16%.
If Sainthood or Emporer Bonaparte get up you'll get a nice collect!

I only had sainthood in for 2nd and 3rd only so that was ok. I threw in brilliant light after after reading some stuff on PP website. Ended up with 16% of the tri so all good. Too bad brilliant light didn't get up.

Thanks Darky!
What a ride from Bossy, rated it a treat! I was confident at the turn when he had a firm grip. Things were looking even better when I thought Strat's Flyer was going to hang on for the Quinella but faded slightly. He's probably better ridden just off the speed and I'll be following this prep.
In any case, I'm definitely 'DANCING' tonight! ha ha
Thanks Abs for the Emperor Bonaparte tip. I put Brilliant Light in for 3rd so missed the trifecta. If I'd been a bit smarter I would have stood out Walking or Dancing in the tri, however it's so easy in hindsight. Regardless Brilliant Light and Emperor Bonaparte are both going into the blackbook. The Emperor flashed home.
Thanks ABs and Sands for your input on the race, we almost cracked the tri with our top 6. No mean feat in what was a hot field.
Have a great night!
