Different Races require different betting methods.
My decisions are based pretty much on The Watchdog Market

SHEPPARTON Race 8

#2 CHERIE BAXTER is about the right Price so in order to find some Value , I have found #7 SO MANIC and #1 SPIRAL GLORY which I will take in QUINELLA's

I also like #6 COONEY'S MEDAL and #4 ELITE LOMBO , but they are likely to start shorter than I would like , so will leave them out.

6 SPADER simply brained the old ************s at an unsuitable 430 metres at Bendigo last week.
Just imagine what he is going to do at his Favourite Track and Distance!!!

The Problem with the Race is deciding what else finishes on the Podium.

I'll try a First 4
6 - 1,3,4 - 1,2,3,4 - 1,2,3,4,8 for $8 worth

If you have the Patience, skip the Race.

4 Winning Chances here makes it $4 the Field by my reckoning.
And the one to back is the one that will be up front early.
I guess with all the room outside it , the Red must be most likely, but with all the room available to drift in, then the Blue is also a possibility.
Whichever of the 2 is available at over $5 will be the win bet here for my $10.

3 STAGGER INN is better than these and should win.
But will start Odds-On and a First 4 is in order here.

2 BELENA HAZE is easily the best performed runner in the Race, but its most outstanding efforts are when drawn wide.

I have no idea how to wager on this Race , so here is My Market and if interested, you can decide what to do.

My early thoughts are to take the First 3 animals that are Over My Odds in a Box Quinella for a dollar.

Sometimes, as it should be, there just ain't anything no matter how long you study a race.

7 EL GRAND SENOR failed twice from out wide.
It either fails again or wins easily.

I suppose a good approach would be to have it for First in the Exotics and also left out completely in others.

I'll be Boxing 3,8,9 in a $1 Quinella.

And a First 4
7 - 3,8,9 - Field - Field for $4 worth.

I've come up with the 2 top selections as The Watchdog.
But equal with them is 2 NEVER A FROWN
And at the Odds , is the one to bet, as distinct from the one to beat.

One thing that annoys me is the 4 wins, but 9 seconds in its Stats.
This may mean that it chases other dogs rather than the lure.

Anyway, the Odds available will offset that problem, providing I can get close to $7 for my $10 a win investment.

2 PAY THE PIPER $10

6 KEY LARGO PAT $50
9 AROLOK RUMOUR $60
10 BUCKLE UP ERIN $100

Is hard to go past the Red , but at the Odds , 4 BOMBER BLUE BOY is an excellent bet.
Some Exotics with both these animals figuring on the Podium is also a good bet.

2,7,8 - 2,7,8 - Field - Field for $4 worth.

Is only for the sake of having a bet, but on occasions, these prove some of my better returns.
