can anyone tell me unitab,s aver % take on win pool and is it true betfair is always arond %100

The % is not the whole story System. The rounding down is the bit that bites.

confused now uni tab seems to run at 118% and betfair around 103%
and my program has aloss of 12% based on uni tab is it fair to say it makes 3% on betfair or do i add 5% to bet fair for there cut so it 108%.for the record im being lazy as im making money just a heap of work.
my top2 s/r 40% aver div 3.8 all uni tab
my top4 s/r 60.8 aver div 5.8
i have been taking my top2 and backing one of them based on form video and what gear they have i dont back anything with non standard shoes.
and for the last 10 odd weeks i have had 260 bets s/r 24% aver div $5
run of out 16 in a row with me making 1 mistake in splitting top2.
i cant handle run of outs.

No. betfair prices are very informed and a horse that wins on may be a lot less then what you expect on betfair, and in turn the same happens with losers (they can and usuakky are longer priced).

Your only way to know if your program works with betfair is to place bets on betfair using small stakes.

Generally its hard (for most people) to make money on betfair due to the commission and the accurate pricing.

The UniTAB will tell us that its 114%
But with the rounding down , this now makes it 118.5%

If looking at Betfair
If market is say 105%
We could add the 5% comm to that which makes it 110%

Here's a method I find that works well with this percentage difference.

Pull up the Betfair site.
Go to live prices where the TABS prices can be compared to Betfair prices.
Click onto SuperTAB header, this now sets the price ranking for them.

At 1 min mark
Compare Super TAB top 4 prices to Betfair price , which will be right near its column.
Bet 1.30 units on the overs (greater price on Betfair than SuperTAB)
Bet 1.00 units on the unders. (lesser price on Betfair than SuperTAB)

No odds on races.

This works well if the Favs don't win all day.
