Pick a race where the majority of horses are unraced

Add up the number of horses with a "R" in their name.(after scratchings)

Add 1 to this number. This becomes your MINIMUM acceptable Price.

Good luck.

darkydog2002 -- shame on those who have ridiculed this system -- there is method in your madness :)

there is a good qualifer tomorrow Flem R1 -- as a challenge i reckon it would be better to go for those jockeys with an "R" in their name

good luck!

Whether a horse has an "R" in its name or not is 100% irrelevant. Please tell me this is just for a bit of fun for us readers. Because it is absolute nonsense to take this seriously - reminds me of a mate who for a laugh devised a system years ago based on jockeys who rode with pom poms!!

all the mockers have missed the most important detail

Pick a race where the majority of horses are unraced
there is NO revealed form -- may as well toss a dart or select a horse with "R" in its name -- of course darkydog2002 is having a bit of fun but a random choice is probably as good as any in picking a winner

as i said there is method in his madness! :)

This is not nonsense.
The wearing of a Pom Pom may reflect the personality of a Jockey.
And perhaps the personality reflected may be that of a strong rider who simply loves to win , and win often.

Then again.
It could reflect that the Jockey is effeminate and cannot control a powerful beast and therefore will run well down the track with your wagers aboard.

and I hope you're also joking with this?

breeding, training, trial results, markets. There's 4 far better indicators to performance of unraced horses than a dart or an "R" in its name.

Of course, any serious punter knows you can make a profit in these races simply by backing every odds on first starter.

Flem R1 challenge -- congratulations darkydog2002 -- you did it again!

there were 10 bets for a return of $16.8 -- a massive 68% POT :)

the proof is in the pudding -- eh! ;)

I like Pudding.

I also like the idea that someone can make a profit backing odds on Mules as suggested.

All the evidence shows it cant be done.

I feel someone got sucken in to this Urban myth , one would have to have proof to suggest otherwise.

I,m glad this post is getting another airing as it was based on that well known form factor PL or as one crude fellow called it PA (pure ass as against pot luck )
I posted it to add a bit of fun to the site and blow me down with a feather it threw up quite a few $20 - $40 winners.
Come ta think of it I might add a few to my Walcha Cup trifecta.Ho Ho.

1 - 5 - 7 - 8 for 1st/2nd and 1 - 11- 12 - 15 for 3rd

All in fun

There's a race on tomorrow with horses: Underperformer, Mirrors, Eye Surrender, Burrum Burrum Black, Rooster Boy, Reindeer Rebel & RunRuthRun.

I think we need another filter .............

By george I've git it !!! I like looking at a horses SR, so an appropriate filter here aould be the SR of "R's" to the number of letters in the horses name. There's one with a SR of 50% ..... Mirror ..... worth looking in to !
