For those backing at Hong Kong today, this site may help you in your battle

http://www.hongkongjockeyclub.com/english/racing/startersR1_e.asp

There are different types of form info on each horse, including general form summary, performance detail for the last 10 races, including video replays of HK races, comments and times for recent trackwork, a breakdown of each horses career form including season breakdowns of prizemoney/win distance/place distance/ etc, and info on the major races for each horse including who won/ran 2nd in the race, international rating etc.

Hong Kong Cup

(3) Eishin Preston - the first horse to win a HKIR event (the 2001 Hong Kong Mile) and followed by a win in the Audemars Piguet QEII Cup last season. Arrives in Hong Kong in good form, having finished second in Japan's Mile Championship last time out.

(1) Grandera - Cox Plate placegetter, who holds an unassailable lead in the World Series Racing Championship.

(2) Sarafan - would be vying for top WSRC honours with Grandera had he not been beated a short head in the Arlington Million and a nose in the Japan Cup recently.

(12) Cellini - local who has made the field following earlier withdrawals. Should be very good value - for the muliples.

Well didn't I do well (not)! Thank heavens for the other races. Take a look at the time they ran in the Cup (2000m) - 2.07.10

And Grandera must be bruised and sore today, isn't that Dettori a great rider!

Hi Paddy, did contemplate posting some picks for the Cup but couldn't find form for a lot of the starters - even checked out the website you mentioned.

Thought SKYs coverage of the Hong Kong meet was woeful in as much as the short focus on each race. I for one would not have minded a reduced local coverage to focus more on the Hong Kong events.

Amazingly slow time in the Cup considering class of horses engaged - what would Northerly have done to them - his style of racing would have kept him out of trouble, not like poor Grandera.

Noted that Dettori had another ill judged ride (in an earlier event I think). Riding one of the favourites, got stuck on the fence & that was the end of proceedings.

Your also a naughty boy! Upsetting Marcus!

Oh well, can't please everybody!
