Hi all.
let me state a true story happened last weekend.
A punting tragic mate of mine attended flemington,
Last saturday and got gelded (20 bets=0 winners).
A regular occurence with him these days unfortunately.
After arriving home sat night he's on the phone to me,
Bemoaning the slaughter rides trainer can't train etc etc.
He then comes out with this statement gaz to punish myself,
for losing today i'm only eating vegemite ice blocks till i back a winner.
After picking myself up off the floor i just agreed with him then hung up.
Have no doubt people known this bloke since school he will do just that.
Mrs left years ago obviously being of sound mind.
Come sunday get a call from an excited ray, gaz you'll never believe it,
My first bet today a winner ($1.70 fav) horsham trots mind you i think.
So the moral of this story if at the end of a days punting you end up,
being gelded suck vegemite ice-blocks overnight resulting in the first bet,
you have the next day will be a winner.
Obviously this enlightens one's punting brain to another level i can't comprehend at this point in time.
I swear (no pray) he doesn't get gelded again saturday.
If he does then does the vegemite ice-block saga and wins 1st bet sunday,
there will be no more posts from me.
Why cause ii will be throwing myself off the roof.
(A TRUE STORY) anyone else with a similiar racing piece please post.
Guess we can all do with a laugh from time to time in the search for a winner.
