I've been using a system that uses fixed odds since march and to date I've had 12 winners from 20 races. Average dividend $5.12

I can't reveal the rules to the system, but if you want a copy the google Sports Betting Shark. I have the real version.

Since you have it and have had some success i won't say it is a ********, but why would some one sell a successful system?

I don't know the answer to that, but I'm going to continue to use it. I might even use it with my triffecta and 1st 4 betting.

Well its the typical promise to win a fortune site, which also isnt setup very well, if you simply add download to the end of the site name and google that, it takes you straight to the download page............

And is that a surprise??

If you pump in the website name and download into GOOGLE , surely you wouldn't expect to be taken straight to Martha Mackenzies Scone Recipes?

If there is anything you have seen you are interested in let me know, using the right searching techniques you would be amazed at what you can find.

I have a couple of these ebooks that have been advertised online.

There is nothing new about this system.

A free copy is available by (googling) sports betting shark pdf

Its similar to the system that has been mentioned a number of times on this forum over the years.

There cant be a copyright on the filters used because its basic universal maths that's been used by punters for a hundred years.

RULES
Target the fav + some others depending on the the price of the Fav
1st Fav.
3.50--- bet 2 runners same amount on each or split 60/40 e.g. 3+2=5
4.50--- bet 3 runners 3+2+2
5.50--- bet 4 runners 3+2+2+2

You may be waiting a while between drinks if you wish to use this on Aust racing.

An alternative is to apply the pricing rule to the 2nd Fav for more action & spread it accordingly.
example
2nd Fav is 4.50
Bet $3 on 1stFav (regardless of favs price)
Bet $2 on 2ndFav
Bet $2 on 3rdFav

Thanks Bhagwan! Your a champ.

I'm reading through this. Is this based on fixed odds at 5 minutes before the jump? or 1 minute. No recommendation is mentioned. Fixed oddw with any bookie or market.

Similar to the market forces strategy actually too.

Benny, Are you just using the fixed odds sustem on Betfair?? Surely there are alot more races than 35 if using this method? The results whatever you are doing sound great.

Please clarify and thanks,

I'm using unitab for my fixed odds bets, but will use betfair in the near future when I have a big enough bank.

Hi Benny

At what point do you decide the price of the favourite.

opening price eg IAS openers
5 minutes before the jump
1 minute before the jump

eg
5 minutes to go price of fav 3.70
1 minute before the jump fav now 2.80

Cheers

23 winners from 39 races. And a profit of nearly $125 at level stakes Can someone recommend a good staking plan.

What's wrong with the level returns you are getting?

What would be your goal on the staking plan? To steroid your wins or avoid losses or what?

I used this system last night at Sandown Park using the fixed odds from Sportsbet.

The result is 4 winneres from 6 races. av div of $3.48

It also had 3 trifectas form the 6 races.

It's early days, but I will keepusing the system.

Any thoughts.

Hi Benny,
Well Done.
You are doing well.
Try & not change too much if you can help it.

Usually staking plans are used to show a profit where their level stakes process ,is nearly breaking even.

If you want a money management plan that will juice up your current profits, you may like to try this.

Bet between 1/30th - 1/50th of floating bank per race or day , as bank goes up & down .
e.g. Bank $500 bet 1/50th , Bank now $450 bet 1/50th , Bank now $550 bet 1/50th

This only works if the current process already shows a good POT at level stakes, as it has been.

Benny , have you been going 4 runners if the 2nd fav is priced 5.50+ ?
I know we go 3 runners is 2nd Fav is 4.50

max
11th May 2011, 10:22 PM
So Benny you are targetting races where the Fav is at 7/2 or better for 3 units and then adding 2nd favourite for 2 units, or adding 3rd fav is 1st fav is 9/2 or adding 4th fav is 1st fav is 11/2?

And Baghwan you are suggesting to go from the 2nd fav if it is priced at 9/2?

Have I understood this correctly?

Benny
12th May 2011, 03:30 PM
the profit is now over $200 and going. When I reach a $1000 in profit I will take it out and start again.

max
18th May 2011, 08:34 PM
How are you going now?

Benny
20th May 2011, 03:35 PM
It's still winning 34 winners from 56 races The profit is well over $210.00 now and growing.

It picked the winner of the Mount Gambier gold cup. I got $5.00 fixed odds

max
20th May 2011, 06:41 PM
Are there any filters on the races as it looks like you are only betting on a few races each day?

Bhagwan
21st May 2011, 10:47 AM
Hi Ma x /
That's right 2nd fav 9/2+ (4.50)

The idea I suggest, is to target the first 6 races of the day only, in chronological order only.

2nd Fav to be $4.50+ x 3 units
3rd Fav x 2 units
4th fav x 2 units

Total 7 units.

Don't worry if there is an odds on shot in these first 6 races , we go them anyway.
Its amazing how many of these odds on shots fall over in the first 6 races of the day .
Therefore bumper prices for our selections.

If there is no 4.50 2nd Fav to be had, then its a no bet race.

That leaves us just 5 races to find our selections .
We dont add extra races.

max
21st May 2011, 09:41 PM
So ignore 1st fav Bagwan?

Whatg are you doing Benny?

Bhagwan
21st May 2011, 10:28 PM
Sorry , I've made an error.

We apply the rules to the top 3 Favs.

It becomes a qualifying race if there is a $4.50+ 2nd Fav in the race.

If that 2nd Fav is any shorter than $4.50, we ignore the race.

We bet the $3.00 on the 1st fav regardlees of its price.

Bet 3+2+2

Target first 6 races of the day in chronological order, only.

This is from our original posting about the rules.

Apply the pricing rule to the 2nd Fav .
example
2nd Fav must be $4.50+
otherwise, no bet race

Bet $3 on 1stFav (regardless of favs price)
Bet $2 on 2ndFav
Bet $2 on 3rdFav

This sounds rather interesting. I think Benny and Bhagwan are doing two slightly different things here. Bhagwan is looking at the price of the second fav to determine if its a bet or not, as opposed to Benny who is looking at the price of the fav, to determine if its a bet or not.

Then Bhagwan has 3 bets if his second fav is $4.50+,..........whereas Benny might have 2 or 3 or 4 or even 5 bets if his fav is $3.50+

Interesting, might have to have a closer look at this,

Paul

I am tracking both systems and neither are in profit since I started. That is not say they can't be with a little tweaking. I did notice that dropping the 3rd fav from Bagwan's works better as they have not yet won in the data I have so far.

Bhagwan
24th May 2011, 02:10 AM
Sorry Max, but you mention the word data , as in data base.

Are you inferring 3rd Favs don't seem to win, therefore, feel they should be dropped ?

Is that conclusion based on 1 day ?

If it is , it can hardly be called data.

Please say it's not.

So, I am confused as to what is meant.

Cheers.

Hi Ma x /
That's right 2nd fav 9/2+ (4.50)

I always thought 9/2 was $5.50 but i could be wrong.

Bhagwan

Sorry Red , my typo mistake.
7/2 is 4.50
9/2 is 5.50

max
25th May 2011, 11:32 AM
Great! Now I am totally confused and all my results so far will need to be redone.

So 3/2 is 2.50, 5/2 is 3.50 and 7/2 is 4.50?

=> Bagwan, my data is simply all the days racing from each day (except Sunday) for the past 3 weeks. A lot of racing but not quite the "database" you would be used to running through.
