Yesterday if box quinellas had been bet using the following rules:
1) Minimum of 12 starters.
2) Minimum of 91 points on Unitab ratings.
3) Selections must be under 75% of starters.
then there would have been 15 successful quinellas from 16 races. More importantly the outlay would've been $290 and the return on Unitab would've been $620.

Interesting.
I get that automation feeling.

Yes, that's correct. However I forgot to mention that there was an additional filter that precludes Maidens because of their unknown form.

The total quinella outlay is now $70.

Michael
How did you fare?
I have been interested in how to use these zipform ratings for a while and was wondering how good there were and what they could be used for.

Yesterday's outlay was $80 but the return was only $25.
Max, I use Unitab's ratings not Zipform. However, Ricardo48 is looking into Zipform's ratings for Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Today's Unitab quinella selections.

Sorry mate I was readying both threads at the same time over coffee and dodging the boss at work!
I meant I was interested in seeing how the unitab stats can be used. Currently I am running tests on 3rd, 4th and 5th favourites in the morning and in the market just before jump. Still not satisfied with the consistency yet. Applying filters like crazy.

Max,
its not difficult to confuse one thread with another because there are quite a few here, and there are also some with similar ideas.
Unfortunately the quinellas bombed yesterday. I've tried to discover some consistency with the ratings but like you I am still looking. Maybe one day...
