3 MOJITO $10
2 DYNA MAX $11
6 FENNEL BALE $14

Perhaps the Quinella might be the best option at this stage.

Monday evening with mo lol. Might log in later in the night to put a few thoughts forward. Don't bet much these days, which makes the money last alot longer in the account lol. Havnt had a bet since Oh Cee Tee won somewhere last week. Got a ripper electric bill to pay $768.45, so hopefully can find some winners so the tab can pay off some.

Thats excellent that you are limiting your number of bets SpringJoker.
It seems to be paying dividends for you - well done.

And I knew you shouldn't have bought that Electric Chair off of eBay , even though it was a bargain.

7 PLUTO POWER $10
8 GRASMORE $12
1 VOCAL EXIT $15

I prefer to keep away from that sort of thing Lomaca.

The weirdest I have gone is an inversion table.
Supposed to be good for the spinal column.

Lomaca.
I don't understand your betting.
Your best bet is at what I would think are quite good Odds, based on My Market anyway.
And what happens if it wins and your other runners don't figure.
You end up square.
Wouldn't you be better off placing the $15 straight out instead of Exotics.
Even if it starts @ $6 , that would be a collect of nearly a hundred bucks.

I suppose a hundred bucks to you means like maybe $10 to me , so then I sort of understand.

I still reckon you have found a very difficult race to pin down to just the 2 permutations.
I won't be playing , but if I were , I know I'ld be going lots of combinations for a small percentage in Flexis.

EDIT:
Lomaca
Waste $2 on a Trifecta
7 - 3,5 - 3,5 for a Unit.

See what you mean, but I'm told by quite reliable sources that even a single use of five minutes will take away all your pains and worries for ever.
Have to hurry up and get one soon too, what with the carbon tax an all we won't be able to afford to run it, waaait what am I worried about?

Good luck with your tri, I have the sinking feeling of you being right about the combinations and No 3 having a better than good chance, but it doesn't come up in my rating anywhere near the top.

Obviously like many times before I'm missing something, but as I said, it's still a work in progress.
I think I will have to try and collect the data from the greyhound site.

Cheers

I just noticed that Andrea Dailly has got every runner in Race 8!!!
I don't know what that means , but it seems something has gone wrong somewhere.

yup just checked my database.
But I get my data from the Suoertab site so if they got it wrong I got it wrong!

Well.
It actually beat home #6.
And also almost beat one of my top selections home.

I have a bad feeling the losing streak is about to arrive :(
I still have Races 7 and 8 at Shepparton to do , but it is my worst track and normally destroys my nerves.

It may sound stupid and I can't offer a logical explanation for it, but believe me they exist!

moeee
4th July 2011, 05:56 PM
Yeah , but following your advice would mean using common sense , but I'M STOOPID!!!

The trouble when I say Shepparton is my worst track , it is just a perception because I still choose not to keep records of my travels. (STOOPID Again!)

I don't have a lot of videos of Races at Shepparton, and animals tend to run at the same tracks all the time , probably because their trainers live in the vicinity.

And not watching many races with these animals means very little familiarity with those animals and rely on Form Study , which ain't working too well with me.

Almost saying all bets are off, bu...r!well so much for that!
No excuses but I can tell you, what I can see in dog races, one dog out after the rating's done, makes a 100 times more difference than a late scratching in the gallops.

But you would be more aware of that than I am surely.
That's it for me for the day.
Good luck

I dunno.
I guess it all depends on how you come about your ratings.

There is a Method that takes into account each animals strike rate and prizemoney earnings.
Something like that would not be influenced by late scratchings.

But actual race study could be influenced a lot due to the large gap now presented to the animals on either side of the box of the late scratching.
Also can be important if the scratching is a leader , although Axeman is slow , so it wasn't an issue in todays race.

I done my balls on the race , because I had only 2 chances , one was withdrawn , and even still over $4 was freely available on the other.

Sometimes its best to just let it go.
Not worth the messing of the head to find out what went wrong.
Life is too short.

And by the way - Lomaca - I don't know if you recall, but perhaps a month ago SANDY BUBBA came up as a best bet in your methods in the city.

Some nice efforts there, Mo. Congrats.

Thank you for that Merriguy.

But what you see ain't always what you get.
But then again , is possible to get more than what you see.
When Framed Markets are used as a guide, then its possible to come up with winning wagers or losing wagers.

In the order of races I posted heres how I went.

Cranbourne Race 8
I lost badly backing my 2nd selection that was an Overlay.
But it wasn't hard to find the Quinella , as it was filled by my 1st and 3rd selections.
Probably paid good too as the Winner paid $17 or so , and was an Overlay I had rated at $9 at 3rd pick.
That I managed to lose heavily on the race shows that I am lacking in what it takes to interpret the correct way to wager.
I think what may have occurred , was that I became fixated on my top 2 selections and forgot to view the race Field as a whole.

Cranbourne Race 10
The late scratching threw my early thoughts away , but the substitute wager decision was obvious and I only lost heavily due to being beaten by an animal I had dismissed as a winning chance.

Cranbourne Race 5
After recommending a $20 Win Bet on the winner of the Race , I couldn't get top Odds and ended up not having the wager myself.

Shepparton Race 7
I actually posted and purchased a winning wager finally.
But also lost some of that winnings on a Win Wager on my top selection which ran poorly.

Shepparton Race 8
Got the race wrong and lost heavily on my top selection.

So its not about having the winner in your top 2 or 3 selections.
