I was listening on the radio and heard the number 18 was moving up, i backed it at 65 the only runner i didn't back from my 5 was the winner because it was way under my price.

What you need to do is have a closer look as to why you had it rated obviously too high today.
If your ratings were the only method that suggested it wouldn't run well , then it may pay you to modify your methods somewhat , but make sure any adjustments are justifiable, not a suck it and see approach.

Maybe leave it.

With my handicapping , I get fairly intimately involved with the animals.
Their quirks and perks.
For an hour of study per Race you would expect to notice a lot.

As you spend little time on massive amounts of races, your best approach would be to simply monitor your bottom line before tinkering or tampering.

I did notice that i could make some improvements, i normally operate on the better class races of the day
