Many of our Danger Jock's rides were long in the market last week so the jockey factor wouldn't have really come in to play. Let's see how we go today. Quite a few today and some big names.

On the Racenet web page you can get up to date stats on jockeys; current season number of rides, number of winners and place getters. I use the percentage of winners to rides as much more relevant than the total number of winners.

I've cast the runes closer to home so there's no overseas Danger Jock's for Cup Day. Obviously talked Glen Colless up too much and now he's come off the boil.

Just a reminder, these are riders that when all things are equal the pixie dust tells me should give their ride's that little extra sparkle. Pieces of the puzzle, not a puzzle in themselves. Having said that though you'd do worse than to put a few dollars on after eliminating all resumers, first starters and any of their mounts starting at over $11. ;)

I'n sacking Stephen Baster from my stable of Shock Jock's. I just can't catch his layable rides. Give me Lindop, McEvoy, Munce and Colless any day.
