A good read in a popular magazine this month.
There was a really good staking system that has appeared here from a person who's initials are Baggy that seems to have found it's way into this mag, and another system looking at maidens which has also appeared here recently.
Are you guys getting royalties??

Maybe we should publish the systems they sell on here for free eh?

You buy it you own it, just change the wording of any system you come up with and publish away.

Anyone who posts anything that actually works get attacked by the unscrupulous vulchers.
Remember Mark and Allanby got attacked by some renegade which sold it.
Then there was my post to another forum about trainers habits concerning multiple and single acceptors in races by leading trainers which promptly got published by an impractical glossy mag.
It's par for the course, they'll steal anything if there's a buck to be made.
Justice always prevails, as they had to stop selling it, as they got the finer points wrong and the site is now closed.
Aaah sweet revenge.

You have to have a bit of a laugh when stuff gets printed.
It doesn't bother me one little bit if others wish to publish certain things.
I feel one has to accept those sort of probabilities when we put stuff out there, in cyber space.
I hope, who ever wishes to use any ideas, that it helps make a difference to whatever they are trying to do.
Generally , Punters usually change most ideas that come their way , so therefore it should not be a concern .
Punters cant bet on every new idea that comes their way, anyway.
I hope we don't end up like many of the UK forums, where they are frighten to share any ideas or findings, that may appear promising , in fear that someone else may make a few dollars out of it.
Those UK forums just have heaps & heaps of drivel & its a pain to read , there's no new ideas put forward.
Their posters often say something like...
I have just discovered something that is showing promise. .
But I no tell you what it is.
Then why say it in the first place.
Like I said , you got to have a bit of a laugh when stuff gets taken up in other publications.

A wonderful attitude Bhagwan, and I am sure you are/wil be rewarded in many ways for your giving/sharing nature.
I am positive that your multitude of contributions are appreciated by many - and so a big congratulation on your mature and courteous response to something which I personally find quite distasteful - that someone would do that.
Once again; well done.

It was once said you could drop the Holy Grail of punting outside Rosehill races main gate and not many people would take a second look.
The main reason they fail in the mag is because 80% of what they print is crap the other 20% is hard to find.
I used to buy that mag years ago, bought it for about 10 years and in that time i think i found about 5 ideas that were worth following, a couple have now died because of the changes in races.
Back then there was not many good form guides and none were online, this was the days before windows i wrote a couple programs in Qbasic that used to find heaps of winners, if i didn't find at least 1 winner a day paying more than $20 i was surprised.
Some of my current ratings are based on ideas from 20 years ago but as i have found they don't perform as well as they used to because of the amount of information online.

I have no problem with people using anything for their personal enjoyment.
I strongly object to those selling FREE information for profit.
Totally immoral, it's not in the spirit it was offered.

Hi 4Legs,
Thanks for your kind words.
-----------------------------------
With those publications, one would think that they would list say 3 months results , not just say , 2 days like they often do.
With the advent of computers , one would think it easily done.
With that brilliant system checker of UB's , one could churn systems out like sausages, so I cant understand how those publications cant do the same .
I guess they cant be bothered, in that case why bother being in the print publication business.
They should sell up.
At least that would stop the fibs those guys tell.
Here's a Backing system that I just churned out using the brilliant UB system sausage machine.
RULES
TAB <= 4
Don Scott <=4
Field Size <= 10
Days Last Start <= 7
Result
27% SR
42% POT
This is 100% back fitted, because future results cant be got.
(No money was harmed during this experiment)
Now , If those publications did something similar , they may hold on to their regulars & maybe attract so new customers.
They need to do something ,so as to break the cycle of drivel they tend to find themselves churning out .
They could make an offer to some of the chaps on this site, for articles to be written at $100 a throw , then they would never be short of something interesting for each publication.

They're going bi-monthly so you might have to wait the extra 30 days to see this one up in lights Bhagwan .....
