Testing another Neural Lay System

I'm looking at another neural Lay system which is also based on a low total of neural points.

So far there's been one accident of $3.30 but 22 smiles.

If today's results are profitable I'll list the rules in case anyone's interested.

Yes, it was a losing day.

However I decided not to proceed because it had been interfering with my laying the field.

Even laying the fave which I am currently doing has on a couple of occasions made me miss the selection because I lay the field first and then rush to lay the fave.

From my observations it seems the big winning outsiders are lightweights. So I'm testing another lay system that targets the heavier weights. So far since Sat there's been about 20 selections for no accidents, even though two of them have run third. And there's even been two outright faves that were beaten.

The rules are simple:

1) Neural default settings.
2) Must be in top half of the field as per the TAB nos.
3) Starting from TAB no.1 go down the field for the top half only.
4) The selection is the first one we come to at $30-plus in the neural market.

Filters
1) No Maidens, 2 year-olds or WFA.
2) No resumers. If so, we then again go down the TAB numbers to see if there's another selection in the top half.
3) All runners in the race with at least 2 career starts.
4) A minimum of 11 runners.

Yesterday I layed the selections on S.P. because this is less damaging when laying outsiders. And this way I can put the bets on early, and as they are bet separately it does not interfere if I want to also lay the field.

We'll see how today goes...

Not much action today mainly because of the small fields.

Yesterday there were also 5 selections. None placed, one was at single odds and three were under $20 so they generally are not big outsiders.

Now let's watch the dreaded forum curse...

Pinjarra 8/3 was not a qualifier because there were only 10 starters (and also a late scratching).

The other 4 selections were beaten for a profit of $5.62. Not a bad start.

Yesterday there were 6 smiles from the 6 selections for a profit of $5.98.

After two days there are 10 smiles from 10 selections for a profit of $11.60.

I am putting the method on hold. I might resume it in the future.
