WiseOne had an absolute ripper of a day with 3 big winners from 8 tips. Including Athelnorth (SR5) at $16.50 (also tipped by Throttle), Bell Place (SR3) at $11.50 (also tipped by Sentabool) and Conspectus (MR2) at $9.30. Other good winners were River Dove (MR8) at $11.80 selected by Tony and Jerrymcguire and Galapagos Girl at $10.80 selected by Zev Friedman, Nevets and Malua.

As you would expect Wise One is now the new leader with a profit of $133.50 from 19 bets (140% POT). The full rankings are on the website.

A great result for Zev Friedman today with Laguna Lake (Rosehill R4) winning at $29.00/$6.70. Other good results for Testarossa and Cosmo who both picked Gentle Genius (Rosehill R6) at $10.60 and Datsun 180B, Martin Friedman and Percy all got Super Elegant (Caulfield R6) at $10.40

Best overall result for the day was Percy with $91 profit from 6 selections (POT of 303%) and Zev Friedman with $85.25 profit from 8 selections (213% POT).

Wise One managed a break-even day to remain in top spot whilst Zev Friedman and Percy moved into 2nd and 3rd with their good day. The top rankings are now:

A big apology to Shavey - I missed entering one of his tips last week and it was the best tip of the day - he also tipped Laguna Lake at $29.00. This meant that Shavey actually had the best result of the day with $106.50 in profit from his 10 tips (although Percy still had the best POT). It also lifts Shavey to 4th place overall with $63.00 overall profit.

Also apologies to Rooburger - he had a dead heat winner with one tip that wasn't picked up correctly in my results.

The corrected rankings have been uploaded to the website for those who want to have a look (I have not uploaded the tip list again due to the file size - just add Laguna Lake to Shaveys selections).

Good results this week for Chrome Prince with $45.00 profit (12 tips), Nevets with $43.50 profit (20 tips), Professor Frink with $41.50 (8 tips), Franga $35.90 (8 tips) and Gazznz $33.50 (7 tips).

Top tips were Nevets with Regicide (MR2) at $24.80, Franga with Billy Cart Hill (BR4) at $14.20 and Chrome Prince with Outback Lad $13.00 (AR2).

There were 6 winners over the $10.00 price with MichaelG picking 3 of them. Best div was Cosmo with Laurinel Angel (Toowoomba R4) at $23.20. MichaelG picked Federal Agents (BR6) at $19.80, Gold Attire (MR9) at $12.40 and Winning Spirit (AR7) at $12.00. Here are the long-awaited results for last weekend - sorry they have been so long in arriving! I have not updated the website yet but it should be done in the next few hours.

Another great result for Wise One with $120 profit from 14 selections - this puts Wise One back in the lead. Other good results were GazzNZ, Professor Frink, Release The Hounds, Ballater and Celibaterifles who all had 64% POT or better.

Wise One also had the best two individual selections with Dehro (Canterbury R2) at $18.70 and Johnny Reb (Caberra R4) at $15.60. The only other notable seleciton was The Ginza (Doomben R4) paying $15.20 that was tipped by Ballater.

The top 10 is made up of exactly the same 10 tipsters as last week - only the order has changed. The Top 10 is now:

Good thing about the end of daylight savings is an extra hour to get the tipping results done early :smile:

Best dividend of the day went to Shavey with Idealistic (BR5) at $22.70! Neverts picked Bradshaw (SR7) at $11.90 and Mr Lofty (MR7) was a popular selection with Collingwood, Celibaterifles and Midaswell all selecting the $11.80 winner. Finally Malua picked Zip Infatuation (AR3) at $11.60.

Shavey’s good winner helped ensure the best result of the day with a profit of $88.50 from 7 selections. Not too far behind was Celibaterifles ($76.50 from 7), then Collingwood ($46.50 from 9) and Rooburger ($36.00 from 6).

A few changes in the Top tipsters this week. Wise One has managed to hold on to top place, although with a greatly reduced margin, with Gazznz moving into second place only $16 behind. There are now 12 tipsters showing a profit - so the top 12 is now:

Apologies to Testarossa - my results system missed one of his winners yesterday (a dead heat). I have updated the results on the website to reflect his correct results for yesterday and his updated ranking.

I have also put the latest Tennis results on the website - unfortunately a loser with the last bet but still almost a 20% POT for the year so far. There will be no further bets until the end of the week as there is no tournament this week.

Some fantastic results this week with Northerly Breeze topping the list with $239.50 profit from 18 tips (266% POT!). Not far behind was Gunner with $202.50 from only 12 tips - a massive 337% POT :eek:

Best dividend of the day was a huge $48.80 win ($10.30 place) for Nautilism (MR 4) to Carol Friedman. Gunner and Northerly Breeze seem to have very similar ideas with them both selecting Helsinborg at $27.80 (SR8) and Money is Magic at $23.30 (PR7). Great going guys! Other good divs went to Wise One with Grand City (SR4) at $20.70, Croft with Carry Kali (PR1) at $14.20, JerryMcGuire with Airlie Bird (SR5) at $13.90 and MichaelG with Odysseus (AR6) at $12.10

There are now 13 tipsters showing a profit with Wise One continuing to lead the way, although Gunner is not far behind. Gazznz holds third (after taking his bye this week) with Professor Frink in 4th only 50c ahead of MichaelG.

Some more good results this week with quite a few people breaking the 100% POT level. Top of the list was Shavey with $143 profit from 17 bets (168% POT), followed by Chrome Prince ($98 from 13, 150% POT) and Nevets ($93.50 from 19). The people who did not submit selections also had a good day with several favourites getting up at good prices at Ascot.

Congratulations to Carol Friedman, Nevets and Shavey who all picked Freemason to upset Northerly (SR5) at $26.70. Zev Friedman also got into the action with Pentastic (MR5) at $25.10. Chrome Prince selected Polar Success (SR7) at $13.50, Super Impressive and Storm both had Chattanooga (MR7) at $11.40 and Nevets, Gazznz and Celibaterifles all tipped Hosannah (SR8) for $11.00. Big Louie has the last big div with Heeby Reiby (SR4) at $10.50.

Wise one has been toppled from first place with Gunner now leading the way from Chrome Prince and Gazznz, however there is only $10.50 seperating these three tipsters. The number of "positive" punters had increased again with 14 now showing a profit. They are:

As next week is Easter tipsters will be able to enter selections from Saturday or Monday racing (or both). As always you need to have selections in at least 1 hour prior to the first race you have selected in but you will be able to send 2 emails (one for each day) if you want to tip on both days. Those that do not enter tips will get the favourites from Ascot racing on Monday the 21st. The 20 tip limit still applies to the combined selections for both days (so you can have no more than 20 tips in total for both days put together).

I am treating the two days as a single round so you must have at least 5 selections (but no more than 20) over the two days. You can tip for either day (or both) provided you stay within the limits (so if you put in 5 tips for today you do not have to put in anything for Monday). People who do not submit at least 5 tips over the two days will be allocated the favourites from the last 5 races at Ascot on Monday.

Here are the tipping competition results for Week 10 (only 4 weeks to go now!).

Another good week for Wise One with a $78 profit from 10 tips due to his selection of Crianca (SR2 Sat) paying $25.60! Northerly Breeze picked up Clangalang (SR6 Sat) at $15.50 which put him in 2nd place for the week. Other good dividends went to Gazznz with Grand Armee (SR8 Sat) at $14.70 and WJP had Bay Of Mine (PR8 Mon) at $10.70.

Wise One has moved back into first place after this week and opened up a bit of a break over Chrome Prince who retains 2nd with Gunner in 3rd. The Top 14 profitable (or at least break even) punters are now:

I have several apologies to make as I messed up a few tips this week and last week.

This week my results system threw a wobbly and decided not to record the greyhound results so Rooburger's results were not recorded.

Last week I missed entering a number of tips for Northerly Breeze and misentered one selection for Wise One. (They both e-mailed me last week but I simply forgot to fix the error until Wise One reminded me after this weeks results were posted). I must say, however that Wise One is a master of understatement! In the email he said:

"you have missed 1 of my selections at Doomben. In race 6 I picked Proudly Agro which won"

On checking the results Proudly Agro paid $38.90 :eek: Had he mentioned the price in the email I probably wouldn't have forgotten to do the update!

Anyway the result of all this is that Wise One is well and truely in the lead (sorry about getting your hopes up Shavey). Top placings are now:

Gazznz put in a big effort to try to catch Wise One with a profit of $147.50 from 12 tips, Northerly Breeze chipped in with $132.50 from 19 tips and Gunner also topped $100 with $100.50 from 16 tips. Unfortunately for them Wise One put in another good performance with $50.50 profit from 8 tips to maintain his big lead.

Best dividend was shared between Northerly Breeze, Gunner and Gazznz who all selected Sylvaner in AR4 paying $30.70. Only other div over $10 was Tahitian Star (Gold Coast R5) which was tipped by both Angel416 and Wise One.

Well no big upsets in the last week so, as expected, Wise One has held on comfortably for an easy win.

Good wins this week to Cosmo with Unrocel Saint (AR4) at $23.90, Martin Friedman with Luckin L'Etoile (SR4) at $12.80, MichaelG with Western Waters (MR3) at $12.40, Datsun 180B picked Magique Sky (BR1) at $12.10 and Bomber Bill (AR6) at $10.60. Percy also picked Magique Sky as wll at Princess Jacana (MR4) at $12.10. Carol Friedman had Gibernau (MR7) at $11.10 and finally Nevets chipped in with Larrocha (AR5) at $10.90.

The favourites at Ascot again returned a profit (nearly 100% POT this week!) so those that didn't submit tips for this week actually did quite well.

The full final standings are as follows. I am particularly impressed that the top 7 all achieved over 20% POT and there were 15 tipsters that showed a profit - pretty good for a 14 week competition.
