Hi All,

I recently got Racing Pays More. Great book!

What I was wondering. Is anyone here using the C plan with free ratings with any success?

The book suggests W*nform ratings however without any research I cannot see this wouldn't work with other free ratings.

Anyone got any experience or comments on this?

I also have a copy.

Regarding you question i can offer some advice,
But it is under this criteria only unfortunately.

It is based on certain race types read my post,
On good and average betting races.

I recorded the first 4 OPENING on course bookmaker,
favorites that opened<$6.0

I also as usual only record and bet on these type,
Of races when all horse reach a minimum of $3.0>,
No matter what my rated prices may be.

My records for the 3 states.
1-GOOD AVERAGE RACES
2- ON COURSE OPENING FAVORITE.
3- MINIMUM 3.0> ALL HORSES.

Some profitable stats with the opening FAVORITE.

01/05/2011-31/07/2011.

In wet top rated .(Found on the vic tab website all conditions)
Out=127(40w)
RET=161

PL% TOP
Out=132(40W)
Ret=145

p/post top
Out=237(67w)
Ret=257

P/money top
Out=135(43w)
Ret=167

w% top
Out=134(41w)
Ret=157.

Aus Sires
Out=226(65w)
Ret=273.

As for ratings the only free one i recorded was,
The skyform top
Out=189(47W)
Ret=184.

This covered all country metro and provincial tracks.
Within that 3 month period in those 3 states.

The dividends used were.
Country Provincial best of 3 totes.
Metro best of 3 totes or s/price.

These stats were the best i did record others.
This is only 3 months using my,
3 state rule.
Race criteria rule
Opening on course not (starting price favorite)
Minimum price $3.0> all runners.

This obviously distorts a lot of things as they are ,
The criteria i use on my own betting hence the profits.

I think a more realistic guide would be on U.B.S
Site that has Favorite order with unitab don scott neurals etc.

Hi m2

Looking back on what i posted i would
Recomend the data base advertised.
By Chrome Prince on this very site.

It would easily cover the other rules,
And would give you unlimited other stats,
In which to improve it.

Plus the added benefit of thousands of,
Races over many years.

Then you can gauge if it will work or not.
