I guess it depends on what you want it for.

Do you play games ? Do you run millions of calcualtions (for horse racing of course) or do you just need it to browse the web ?

It should be good enough and for the price you can't complain.

Mind if i ask where from, i see you have listed it as a quad core but i was sure that model was a dual core.

As mentioned you are not buying a gaming system but that one will suit your needs.

Shaun, it came in today with DEALS DIRECT, but a bit confusing as it says $599,

then further down it says $499 so haven't quite figured that one out yet.

UB. As you will have realised I'm NOT a computer buff, definitely don't play games well, not the ones you are talking about Hee Hee! same with movies ! ................(humph)...

So yes mainly number crunching etc

Yes the i3 2120 is a dual core. Is the i5 an option?

Hi guys, I've got no idea what you are talking about there, I just copied and pasted the specs. from Deals, so should I take it that I am being misled?

This looks better value to me and only an extra $19.95 including delivery:

http://www.dealsdirect.com.au/p/amd-quad-core-performance-pc-3-0ghz-4-core-2gb-ram-500gb-hdd-dvd/

Sorry it doesn't have windows 7 on it though.

Thanks Chrome, your input there greatly appreciated, its a bit confusing for an amateur, they talk about the benefits of Windows 7 and then say at the bottom that it's NOT included???????

The other one that I mentioned it turns out is DEALS ME not deals direct,

but the other guys suggest that I am being misled?

I don't think you're being misled, I just think you need some advice as the subtle differences can be overwhelming if you're not familiar with the differences.
Some differences are neither here nor there, but basic differences such as ram and processor clock speeds are very important.
