I've generally found that Don Scott's market can often be quite surprising so I decided to compare his fave with the fave in the Tele's pre-post market.
I've only got a sample of two days but from what I can see there might be some sort of consistency
If the fave in D.S's market is less than $3 and it also happens to be the fave in the Tele, then the each-way results over the two days are not bad.
There were 11 selections for eight winners returning $27.00.
From the 11 selections there were 9 placegetters for a return of $14.34. The two unplaced selections ran fourth.
Let's see how today's selections fare.

Not a bad day. From the six selections (one was a late scratching) there were two winners for a TAB return of $8.00 ($9.83 with betfair S. P. which includes their 5% commission), and five placegetters for a TAB return of $7.18.

A losing day.
I've noticed that the results are improved if TAB no.1 is not included. Yesterday there were three TAB no.1 selections for no winners and two placegetters for a return of $2.72.
Today there were two selections that were TAB no.1. Neither won nor ran a place.
The method still would have lost. From the 8 selections there were two winners for a return of $5.10, and 6 placegetters for a return of $8.04.
From tomorrow I'll list the selections that are not No.1, and hope.

3/2
Ipswich

Mt barker
8/4
Mt Gambier

Out of interest, the Tele fave for Pakenham R5 is no.1 at $3.50. It's finishing places in it's last three starts are unbroken by a spell and are 5, 4, 2, so it's got good recent form yet it's $101 in the D.S. market
Again, out of interest today's no.1 selections (I'm leaving them alone) are
Moonee Valley
7/1
Ipswich
1/1
2/1
We'll see how they go.

Not all of course, some were nominated in more places only because they find it hard to get a run in the first place but some are aiming for an easier race.
Just a thought.
