Hi Guys

Looking for any kind hearted soul to share their Don Scott data with a fellow (recently converted) devotee...even for a fee

I've only got about 6 weeks of R&S form guides and keen to get some more data....I've got 4 years of neurals http://www.propun.com.au/racing_forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif

I've used Useless Bettors Database to run a couple ideas and I've come up with a couple simple rules which appear to have returned pretty reasonable results.

Love for someone to help out, thanks in advance

Can email me at stix_hotcopper at aanet com au

Stix,

You obviously want other data to back up mine is correct but if you can't get any let me know and I'll put the raw data somewhere for you.

Hi UB,

I think you have answered this before so I apologise for asking again. Are the barrier draws in your system tester before or after scratchings?

Thanks in advance
Bernie

Stix,

No not at all UB, your database is great, I'm not trying to prove your database right or wrong, but looking for greater detail.

I must say I am used to Chrome's database (Race Census) where you can export all the selections (and data) in a table format, so you can manipulate and add other data not captured in Chrome's database....

If I'm able to get the raw data that would be greatly appreciated.

I currently copy and paste the (customised) Meeting Form guides - and then add what is not there like UniTab rating, Radio TAB selections etc. - it's manual :( and taking some time to go through the ideas/angles I have.

Not sure how big your database is in terms of MB's but please email me at stix_hotcopper at aanet com au and we can hopefully work something out..

Thanks UB!

No need to answer my post UB. I found the answer.

Feild size is after scratchings.
All other things are before scratchings.

Hi U.B.

Was wondering if it's not to much trouble could you send,
Don Scotts ratings to me as well same as stix.

If you have them from 01/08/2011> would be great
Was interested in the DIV RATINGS.

Email me kelpebkey at optusnet dot com dot au.
Think this is how Bhagwan said to give it out.

Cheers.

Here are my the files which hold the raw data. I had to select this out of my own database so hopefully I got the joins right. I have uploaded them to a file host called depositfiles which I have used before. Just use the free download button. The links for them are below:

August and September Data : 12Mbs
http://depositfiles.com/files/31s53a1ua

October and Novemeber Data : 16Mbs
http://depositfiles.com/files/lkdrp152s

I'll upload December data at the end of the month.

I just realised that data only has the rankings. I can provide the very raw data (which includes the DIV and actual rating numbers). Let me know if you need this info and then give me a couple of days to create the files and I'll get it done.

If your happy with these files let me know. If you want the extra data let me know.

Thanks U.B.

Yes i do require the div prices and if you can the ranking,
Order after scratchings.

The only data i have shows that the div order 1-2-3,
With a maximum price of=<$7.5 combines good with my own.

I only need 01/08/2011 onwards if you can.

I only bet Sydney Melbourne Brisbane 7 days a week,
Including night meetings.

If it's easier to seperate for you great if not all in one is fine.

Thanks a trillion for this data this will tell me once and,
For all if it is worth perservering with.

When you get some spare time you can email or post,
Like the other ones will keep checking each day.

Cheers.
Garyf.

I'll add all the requested info. If you want something else ask now and I'll try adn accomodate you if I get time.

UB, you're a champion for sharing this data. I hope Santa is very good to you this year. :)

Can I ask, though, if you record last 5 starts and form line data? If so, is it possible for you to share? Also, how do you come by the pace type data?

Many thanks if you can help out...

The form guide I use only has the last 3 starts. I have most form line data for the last 3 starts. I am just using the risa free form guide coupled with r&S form guides.

Pace type comes from R&S speed map.

Nice work Stix,

Anytime you're up in this game is a beautiful thing!!

Volatility is to be expected, unless you're going for a very low action/high strike rate angle. Win betting will almost always be a rollercoaster ride.

Keep on recording results and analysing different classes of races. I like the fact you know exactly how many units you're up.

Long may it continue in 2012!!!

Hi UB

Just a quick question, is the weight change rounded up or rounded down?

The data has whole numbers - so -3, -2, -1 etc.... so is -1.5 = -2 or -1

Many thanks for your help, the data has been much appreciated.

UselessBettor
12th January 2012, 06:30 PM
It shouldn't be rounded. If it is I have made a mistake.

Big Thanks to UB for his efforts with the system tester and providing the data to me.

I've been able to use Jan's data to confirm the manual selections I did during the month and also re-run the selection method I'm using (on paper) and it's great to know I'm on the right track....

There are three angles I'm trying with the ratings and all are performing well, January was a little lower in S.R. than prior months, but POT was the same or higher (got lucky with a few divs ;)).

Anyway, it's great to have other members helping out and without the crap...so thanks UB, very much appreciated....might have to sling you 10% owners share :D
