Yep, I'm going to get some sun, so I don't look so pale like a computer nerd ;)

Yeh, might squeeze in 9 holes.

Would be good if they would email all account holders when these shutdowns are to occur, shouldn't be that hard to do so, have sent them a request to do so in future...

I was working today (as I unfortunately do Monday to Friday) and I have to say this has felt like the longest day on record without BF up and running and my bot losing or losing me money.

But at least I haven't lost today (except for opportunity). ;)

I wonder how much the downtime cost them today in commission?

Probably 5c from me (I have SO many winning bets  ) but you'd think it would be plenty but who knows?

Looks like the shutdowns are an unavoidable issue for Betfair & they seem to usually schedule for after midnight on Tuesdays UK time - maybe the Tuesday gallops here don't rate;).

Whichever, it is very poor business practice to have your whole operation shutdown for any amount of time & leads me to wonder how much (or little) it would take to bring the whole show to a halt for any given amount of time, a DOS attack for example. Maybe the boffins at Betfair have a handle on all of that, one would hope so.

Anyway after being left 'high & dry' today, I look forward to making a few fellow BF punters miserable tomorrow:)
