1. Track bias and pattern of racing did not suit
2. Windy day irritated the respiratory system
3. Not suited to the track.
4. Cannot handle the track conditions.
5. Was found to be unwell (as opposed to racefitness).
6. Medication may have an adverse effect.
7. Hit with a clod during running.
8. Inconvenienced by seagulls.
9. Helicopter over head spooked the horse “GaiWaterhouse”
10. Bad ride by jockey.
11. Bad barrier.
12. Bled during the race.
13. Shoe came loose and then stepped on a nail inthe shoe ….. Shocking 2010 Melbourne Cup
14. Sitsdown in the stalls (Aqua D’amore)
15. Lack ofpace bamboozled the jockey and he went forward, only to let the horse go backto last way too late in the race, when he rattled home for 3rd.
16. Fidgettyand unsettled before the race.
