I don't feel well handicapping today.
I'll post a few Markets and that will be me for today.
CRANBOURNE Race 4
2 ARVO'S HANNAH $4.4
3 JOHN CONNOR $4.9
7 MINNIE POWER $6.8
8 ARVO'S SPICE $8
1 SCANT REGARD $10
5 AXEMAN $12
6 STORMY AGOGO $15
4 TELL 'EM TOM $20
These 311 metre races usually throw up a different Winner every week.
Back the top selection even though it is not a True 311 dog.

Gee raven.
You talkin' like you know something about Greyhounds :)
Good onya.
Seems like you might be hanging around for a while.
That would be good.
I can only comment on races that I studied , and those Tier 3 races usually don't do it for me.
CRANBOURNE Race 1
1 MAJAK MAGIC $3.3
3 COOL AURA $4.7
6 PURE RAMPAGE $6.8
8 BLACK MIRANDA $10.4
4 GUPPA GEE $10.6
2 MISS JANNIS $18
5 DOMINIQUE $20
7 INTO THE MIST $22
Another of those blink and you miss it Races.
The second selection has some excellent Healesville Form.
There's not a lot in this event so it may be worth a Quinella with the top selection.

Just no value at Ben today
in R12 I have the 1 & 3 each at $2.85. The 3 should lead so the one to beat. 5 the only other chance at $5.70.
I stayed up late last night trying to work on some flaws in the ratings. You are right, the only way to do it is to rate each race & each dog on its merits. I still do the base ratings to start with, but also convert each time into a rating figure like i would on the gallops, for me it makes it easier to read them.

CRANBOURNE Race 3
1 SCHWARTZ GIRL $4.2
4 MISTER NORRIS $4.4
8 SOOTY SMITH $5.9
7 ZINGARELLA $6.8
5 KRUEZER AGOGO $9
2 SULTIC ANGEL $16
6 ABRASIVE MANNER $20
Just can't get into it today.
They normally have a bunch of Maiden races early and run these flash things in the evening.
Anyway , it looks as though the top 4 selections are clear from the next 4 and that usually means there is a simple Box Trifecta to be got.

Yeah - me too.
Not so much flaws , just messing.
Well done with your Bendigo stuff.
3 Box Trifectas there.
No Odds , but that is not the issue - you must be doing something right to get the similar Prices the Public get and that your top selections ran very well.
Look Raven.
Even though we can't all make a Profit in 30 seconds , we still can make a Profit.
How long you spend on a race is irrelevant.
If you can get paid a fair amount for your time , then that is Super.
At the moment I am making like 4 cents per week.
Yes , a little low , but I know I can increase that.
Well I don't know , but I can feel it just around the corner.
The worst thing I am doing is because I spend half an hour studying a race , i feel i am obliged to be paid for that time and try to wager when there simply isn't a wager to be had.
The fortunate thing for me is that I don't find doing the Form a Chore.
Although I am today.

Agree with you re Cool Aura, the #6 hardest to beat with its speed.
Mister Norris is VERY interesting. Its NSW form rates very high with me, hard to compare state v state i guess, but his early pace also rates well. Can lead this, hope that pre-post price holds up!

Okay.
One of us has either learnt something or they haven't , and i know its not me.
Could you tell me how you came up with this animal as having an excellent Chance of Leading?
I have no resources that fill the early speed knowledge of this animal.

CRANBOURNE Race 1
Got this race totally wrong and paid the penalty.
If I can ever reach 10 grand , I will start placing Confidence Percentage factors on to My Wager Sizes.
At the moment I am treating most races the same.
I should start immediately but I'm STOOPID.

I just realized where we went wrong here raven.
The animal looked like it was running quite well recently.
It wasn't until I checked just now , that the recent Form was just an illusion.
I just looked at the months and never bothered with the year.
The Form was for 2011 - 12 months ago :(
EDIT: I should have realized though.
The distances it was running at were the Old Grass track 340 metres.
I just plain didn't even look.

Based on the limited info I have, he has run good early splits at Wenty & Rich over the summer. Now my splits may not compare to Vic at all...
He looks like he has a decent jump, musters early speed the weakens over distance on a few videos. On his times he wins, the dist suits him too. His Ric 330m form wins this i think.
But i could be wrong too!

Obviously a little more than 30 seconds spent here.

Yet another animal impossible to find in race 3
And yet another winner for Simone Britton-Fisher.
Good Luck to her , but seems strange a Massive increase in her strike rate lately.
Hello Possums :)
