My thoughts for today's racing -

Best picks -

SR 2 - 1 Winestock
BR 2 - 2 Raja Prince
BR 7 - 3 Gold Class

Best e/w -

BR 6 - 2 Laurinel Argie (jockey let the horse get way too far back in Weetwood at Tba 27/3, Jim Byrne aboard today and extra distance should suit nicely).
MR 4 - 3 Command The Wind
MR 5 - 11 Lethal Leigh
SR 8 - 5 Palladium Star

Best roughies -

SR 6 - Scenic Peak (mighty ask against top two but would not surprise me to see in finish).
SR 3 - 5 Little Miss Quick

Best in Toowoomba -
Race 6 - 2 Rue The Saint (solid win in Maiden on Weetwood day).

Best Trifecta -

BR 2 - Raja Prince/Cambooya/Promoted

Good punting all,
Cheers,
Cosmo.

PS - One for tomorrow -
Sunshine Coast race 10 - Tellem

Just some reflection on Saturday -

Raja Prince - did run on from near tail on the turn to finish fourth. Fantastic run by Star Groom to take the race - class record.

Winestock - 3rd, was really keen on this one, less than a length off winner, but will probably not make the slipper now.

Gold Class - weakened over last 200m to finish fourth. Strong win by Proudly Agro

Laurinle Argie - why oh why didn't Jim Byrne ride him in the Weetwood. Nice win, was heavily backed, didn't get clear until 200m mark, then bolted home. Will now contest the Easter Cup in Brissie.

Command The Wind - Qlder who finished 3-1/2 lgths sixth. Strugglind to win down south, but hopefully will be in the money soon.

Lethal Leigh - disappointed in the run. Will still be following as should be fitter and will be in the placings soon at good e/w odds.

Palladium Star - nice 3rd at 15-1, only 1-1/2 lgths off winner. Will also follow over next few starts. Capable of much more.

Scenic Peak - Lohnro too strong for them, but Scenic Peak right up there. Lookout in slightly easier race.

Little Miss Quick - another who should be better for the run. Can be costly.

Rue the Saint - strong 2nd, still young and will continue to improve.

Cheers,
Cosmo.

PS - I'm pretty keen on Polar Success in the Slipper, good luck to all having a bet.
