Delete the top 2 fanices in the Newspaper Tips

Delete the top 2 fancies in the Newspaper Ratings

Delete the top 2 in pre-post betting

Delete TAB No's 1 and 2

Delete any runner with a Gear Change

The bet is the shortest SP .....

I have to be careful how I answer this as a lot on here take this forum much more seriously then I do.

That does not mean I am a troll, far from it, because I have an interest, but unfortunately am no where war finding the Holy Grail. In fact I am on the back foot.

I have tried Barny's idea to try to get some value. While I have had the odd winner at short odds successful I would say over about fifty bets I would be at the soup kitchen if I did not restrict my bets to Ten cents.

No disrepect intended but that is what has happened over the last month. Maybe next month might be different.

The Soup Kitchen the Star ?? I think it's the first time I've put up a system without any data to back it up. The logic behind it is that the horse to be backed will not be selected by most punters. I'll have a tinker and see of we can get you into the Ritz !!!!!!!!

Wot a crap system. Find a horse in the betting that no one really wanted, and the logic being that the market knows best ?~! I'll refine it a little and get back to myself .... sigh

Generally there are tipsters in the media that pick a lot of favourites to win.
They might have 30 to 35% strike but the avg dividend can be around $2.00 - $2.50

However there are a couple that a generally looking towards some value and base there selections around reasons why there selection can beat the favourite.

These tipsters include Brendan Delany from RSN and Matt McDermott from Sky Racing just to name a couple.

Generally you find if these media punters select the favourite a few times between them - its a good bet as they can't find anything else to win.
