Yes and based on very sound principles too that are common to all MC (at least in my lifetime of 78 years)
I,ve often described it as the "Secret Form Factor - PL
Outlay $500 /Profit $1800 /ROI 460%

thats really good profit. i notice that you do post a lot of selections but you dont list your losses like others do on here. are you just doing this for fun or do you have a system or are you just like all other punters who only list their wins?

Ah Shifty a man after me own heart.
See thread "12/10/2012." and other Professional posts along the same lines.,
where I definitely post my losses as well.
I often post a few fun things as well to lighten things up a bit because fulltime betting which I,ve been doing for over 40 years is so darn boring.
Welcome to the forum by the way.
Cheers

The fun thing I am going to use today on another BIG6 @flemington.
Its by a man who I dare not mention for fear of a holiday.
There,s a garunteed Million in the betting pool so well worth a flutter of $50.
If by pure axxx I crack it I,ll be off again to Amsterdam.

Multibet shifty.
1 bet a race punters will end up in the poor house.
Find either a Free or paid Rating Service that heavily relies on Weight Ratings and have a solid reputation.
i.e racingandsports
wizard online
are 2 of the best for Daily betting.
Others for Saturday Metrop are
lucky88
racingservice run by Mick Fagin
Avoid commercial systems sold by the main 2 suppliers.
Get to know how to profile a horses main Characteristics
i.e
Best distance ranges
Weight carrying abilities etc
The Sportsman racing paper is a must in the early stages of learning to profile horses (the amount of info contained there is amazing)
Recognize early in your career that the more successful you become the more Knockers will come out of the woodwork and dont let them erode your confidence.
Recognize that winning and losing races come in cycles.
i.e A winning run will be followed by a losing run and vice versa.
Always be OVERCAPITALIZED rather than undercapitalized.
Always try to have a minimum 100 bets between you and a wipeout.
Good TC are the ideal (if you decide to use a rating service and the TC are different on the day for whats been rated for consider not betting .)
In this regard remember that Good Track conditions are NOT the same as Dead TC (A trap that only the stupid fall into as Dead can mean parts of the track are dead and other parts can be slow and heavy.Horses slip and slide all over the place and a jockeys nightmare.)
The other trap is betting horses on good TC coming off a recent run of Heavy (it usually knackers them)
Thats the very basics but a good beginning and its one industry where the bettor gets better by constantly studying it.
Cheers
