Condolensces with Kid Charlemagne Cosmo , good win by Lethal Leigh though and Sheer Devotion ran a nice race to finish 6th @50/1 in a top field and Baal Yabba narrowly missed out on a place at good odds.

Thanks Testa, yeah was pretty unhappy about Kid Charlemagne losing the protest.
It was a good win by Lethal Leigh. This horse has been underperforming lately and was due to get back to good form.
Baal Yabba was not far off them at 20-1 first up, and will benefit from the run, and once he burns off some fat will be a big show during winter carnival, may even have a crack at the Stradbroke.
Sheer Devotion was unlucky last start after being poleaxed in the straight when in contention. Ran a nice race Saturday, as you say against a top field, and will be one to follow, and will hopefully get up at big odds, but may need a slightly easier race.
Kugelhopf definitely needs it wet. Follow.
Except for Abolition's 2nd, not much joy in Sydney.
Hope all had a profitable and enjoyable long weekend.
Cheers,
Cosmo
