Hi team propun,

This method has had a whole day of rigorous testing put to it, :D however the selections have been relatively short......

Selections

Canterbury 3-1 / 6-6 / 7-11

Eagle Farm 6-1 / 7-9

Balaclava 3-1

**All selections must have Betfair SP <=$10

It's based around track or distance winners being unders. We'll see how we go.

I'm going to keep a positive mind and a stiff upper lip for this one....:)

TS,

Track and Distance winners is something i'm going to investigate further once I finalise some of the long list I've got on my to do list at the moment. While i've been putting together some ratings of sorts to assist with my pace/speed selections i've noticed that track and distance history have substantially less impact on a horses ability to win in todays race compared to other filters.

I'm not sure if this means those areas can be turned into a lay approach but as it stands for me at the moment i certainly allocate less of my rating towards these factors.

good luck with it

Cheers Josh,

I'm dabbling in this and that at the moment for a bit of a laugh.

After an arduous search for the right angle, I've come to the conclusion that quality Saturday races are the go. Perhaps something to look at with your ratings?

Going back many moons when you first had your ratings on LG's quaddie thread, I'm interested to know how they are faring these days? Especially the overs angle.

Keep me posted and all the best, your diligence and intelligent questioning will get you places!!

Hi Chrome Prince,

The late mail at Belmont busted the rhythm, with number 8 winning and paying $6.60, though I think I know where I went wrong there.

Balaclava 3-1 was a high weight race which I didn't realise and when win betting I avoid these races like the plague.

Selections priced $10-20 have not saluted yet, so I may look into these further. I had a $1.44 shot go down yesterday.

It's keeping the cogs turning if nothing else....

Belmont 4-8 WON $6.6 -5.6 :(

Canterbury 3-1 unpl 8.4 / 6-6 unpl $7.98

Eagle Farm 6-1 unpl 3.35 / 7-9 3rd 7.8

Balaclava 3-1 WON $3.35 -2.35 :(

The Belmont 4-8 loss was a profit buster.

Canterbury race 7-11 Started at $10.13 SP, which was just outside the parameters.

I learnt a little I hope from today.
