G'day Tulloch. I know exactly what you mean & the way I get around it is to have 2 totally separate banks - one 'serious' & one for fun. The fun bank is very much smaller & obviously so are the stakes. I surprised myself to discover that backing a hunch winner gives enjoyment no matter how small an amount you have on it. If it wins you still feel good, but if it loses you don't get angry with yourself because you haven't wasted 'real' money on something you haven't studied. Make your money with your proper selections, but indulge your addiction (we all have it) with trivial stakes. Bellarine Bomber.
